I actually think the Taarabt giving the ball away thing is a myth these days - a bit like when we had similar arguments with Langley. If Taarabt received the ball in his own half and 'cleared his lines', that would not be seen as 'giving the ball away'. Because he always looks for a pass, when he fails it is seen as 'giving the ball away'. I'm going to count the stats v Villa and we'll see how it goes. In my eyes, this season at least and the 2nd half of last season, he gives the ball away less than any other player we have. | |

The GK should not have got anywhere near the ball - a 1 v 1 with the keeper and he must score to give us something. He didnt.....those blinkers are out again!!!
Defending is much better(seen him head the ball as well - shock) but it could not have got any worse than it was.

I would be gutted to see him go anywhere - he's been our best player this year - and that shows how much he has matured over the past season - the old Adel would be sulking every 5 minutes given the form and commitment of his team mates, but he has rolled his sleeves up and consistently been the player who is trying to change games for us.
I really hope this is rubbish - Adel is my favorite player. |

Don't get me wrong. He has been a bright light in a very dark place this season. I'd hate to see him go, he's exciting and can produce special things.
What I said was that if Utd came in for him, I'd wish him luck and wouldn't blame him.

Of course, the keeper should not have been able to save it. Adel knows that. But then which other player of ours could've scored that goal at WBA, for example? All players miss sitters - even Robin van Persie.

Fergie likes a gamble and does like a talented player, Adel is playing in a very poor and often uncaring side in recent times, he looks far more mature than the sulky kid storming off at Hull away or even Fulham last season.
