Probably a mix of Greener and cheaper packaging all round on the Kit Kats.
Not just then either, all previous foil warped confection has gone the same way.
Dairy Milk, Milky Bar you name it. The new plastic wrapper is a bugger to re seal on all if you don't want to nail the mother in one sitting. |
We still have foil wrapping here in Oz, not all bad living in the 3rd world. I loved Bounties specially the dark chocolate ones. Now I love Cherry Ripe, good stuff. |  |

Chocolate over this side of the world is nowhere near as good as the UK Chocolate as they use Long Life Milk and have to inject something into it to stop it melting as its hotter over here.
If you ever get a chance to eat a square of Cadbury Diary Milk, one from OZ/NZ and one from the UK you will know what I am talking about.
What are those Cherry Ripes like? Seen them loads but never had one..... |  |

When I was in Oz everyone raved about Cherry Ripes, Tim Tams and Vegemite.
Cherry Ripes were utterly vile
Tim Tams are ok, nothing special
Vegemite is Marmite for girls.
In NZ I remember them having Cadburys with energy. I think they were designed for those intrepid hikers who could recharge themselves with chocloate, but with added energy. I thought Cadbury's in Oz and NZ was quite nice. Cadbury's South Africa though is disgusting | |
