TEVEZ on 14:38 - Jan 27 with 834 views | QPR_ARG | If you want, you can listen to this interview Kia gave TalkSport. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/ Says a loan deal out of City (he mentions West Ham) is unlikely. "City would have to spend money too. Compensate for some of his wages. Why would they do that?" Which to me reads like this: "I'm saying this because we have upset the club so much they don't want to give us a break. It was either selling him or letting him rot in the reserves/bench". So I think that's out of the question. Oh...I was writing as I was listening and now on the 17:45 minute mark they start talking with Kia about Mark Hughes and QPR. Interesting.

I agree there is a very slim chance. It looks like the three teams that were keen on him, for one reason or another have decided to wait until the summer to try and sign him. So he has a choice, play 1st team football or train with the junior and reserves teams at Man City. If he was to stay at City it wouldn't help his chances in my opinion of securing the deal he wants. He has the same advisor as Mark Hughes and at the last knockings of the transfer window may be persuaded to spend 3 months keeping fit and sharp at Loftus Road. I think that the prestige it would give Tony Fernandez plus help his idea of promoting Rangers as a more international brand would be more than enough to encourage the directors to fund Tevez wages for the 3 month period he would be on loan to us for. City will know that they would be unable to sell him until the summer and to get him off the payroll they just might be willing to deal. All supposing of course that Mark Hughes can sell the idea to him.

Actually a last minute loan deal wouldn't surprise me at all. Can just imagine the Sky Sports crew outside the ground going into meltdown!!!
TEVEZ on 17:53 - Jan 27 with 584 views | QPR_Jim | The only way it would happen is if Kia thingymobob manages to pursuade him that he needs to play football and train else he will struggle to get a move in the summer (assuming his current realistic options collapse). Then he might think that he could simultaniously get Tevez working again and make Hughes look good by getting Tevez to come to QPR. Then (and this is when the arse really drops out of the idea) he's have to convince Tevez to play for QPR for whatever we can affoard to pay him without City making up the difference in his pay packet, as he has basically burnt that bridge. If Kia thingymobob can convice Tevez to take a pay cut to join us with his only argument being that he needs to play to get a proper move (and possibly the reasoning that when City sue him he's going to need all the money he can get) then he deserves worshiping as being the best negotiator that ever lived. To summerise it aint going to happen.
