Swansea City : The way it is going and what to do ? on 12:36 - Feb 26 with 484 views | STID2017 | An excellent in depth article once again well written. One that reveals a situation for the immediate future that makes perfect sense - if it ain't broke don't fix it. In Sheehan and his current coaching staff, Swans seem to have found the perfect short term remedy for their on field woes. If it carries on and we reach a point of safety or better a middle to top 10 finish, then brilliant If it does go pear shaped, then Sheehan will not be to blame, the club will then need to act fast to appoint a new coach. Upwards and onwards you Swans !

Swansea City : The way it is going and what to do ? on 13:48 - Feb 26 with 327 views | PawelAbbott | If Sheehan is not going to be the manager next season, either through his own choice or the club wanting someone different, then the best option would be to bring their preferred choice in with some games left this season. Yes, it would be added expense, but it would give them a chance to look at what we have in a competitive environment. Players can look like workd beaters in training over the summer and be awful on match days.

This report has a link into Football Radar which we first referred to the year before last. I say that because that will be our first reliance on data before anything else. That will be our MO as a club. Then whatever due diligence comes thereafter, although Montague’s is well known for some very in-depth due diligence as well. The next head coach will be seeing a lot of players that won’t be at Swansea if he comes in before the end of the season. Not sure if that would be an advantage to the club plus as you rightly mention the extra expense. I’m getting the feeling from those we have spoken to before this report that Montague will be the main recruiter at source. And from there on in the head coach will be given those players identified after they get a form of clearance. That of course will include finances, salary, behaviour, family etc.
