They beat Labour there too, interesting times.

They are Trump wannabees ….

They want to make the NHS an insuranced based service.
You cant pay the insurance, you dont get the care you need.

Thats Reform for you.

Stick that on a red bus ….

Very similar to the RoI then. But I suppose that is in the EU and cannot be mentioned.

It is looking bleak.

Reform should be unelectable, I get a protest vote but there's a decent chance these morons could end up with a degree of power. We do need change and Wales biggest problem is two of the biggest parties aren't far off identical. The UK's biggest problem is the media.

The UK desperately needs a new centrist party or voting/political reform.

I think we need both.

As you have long said, we need more people to vote, more people to take notice of and hold to scrutiny the people we elect

We definitely need a new centrist party too. For as long as I can remember we have had left of right, whichever one gets in they spend time undoing what the other did and then making their own version. In either case they usually make a mess of it because they are more than busy listening to the hidden voices, those voices that offer them a nice little earner in the future as long as this or that happens. And/or offers them a nice job when they've quit so they can still tap up their contacts.

We need the kind of politicians who understamd their responsibility, know that they cannot be corrupt and should not be corruptible. The way society has gone though, lead by our politicians, are there any of those people around? If there are, do they want to stand?

Can't be for the worst , Labour after 25 years have managed to make Wales the poorest among the countries and regions in the UK, with a poverty rate of 23%., less educated with Wales bottom of the league tables and unhealthiest with waiting times the highest . Can't be any worst can it?

You asked if it could get any worse? It can get massively more worse and I pointed you in the direction where it is worse. You are not interested in these places it seems.

Complacency rules at the moment. The voter was told Brexit would be disastrous nd the people seemingly will double down on it. I am a "toxic remoaner". Lose your job own it but please do not ask for sympathy from me. I was called the moaner and I do not moan.

Wales must run itself without interference of Eton schoolboys down the line.

Because that's what these people do, they say "whatabout" because it's deflection, obfuscation. They don't like the Welsh government being criticised so try to push you in other directions, as if problems in other countries or Westminster being rubbish makes up for what happens in Wales.

They can't get their tiny minds around the most salient ppint, that our everyday lives in Wales are mostly affected by Senedd decisions and it's their decisions we criticise. Criticisng the Senedd is not an attack on Wales itselt, in fact it's a defence of Wales because WE deserve better.

What happens in Venezuela or parts of Africa is for those people to deal with.

I am happy when the WAG is criticised as it should be accountable. So is the voter who took a chance with Brexit. I do object to talking of abolishing the WAG.

It would cost a fortune and leave a trail of empty buildings. It took 600 years to get a WAG after Wales accepted being under the Rule of the English monarchy 1462. (Norman French set it I after 1066).

The Senedd could be run by Reform if the voted wants it. Abolishing the WAG would be seen as an attack on Wales by some. Reform can as for a vote in abolishing the house of commons or house of lords but will not.

They that trick with Felixstowe.. i love living in Wales. It is my personal choice. I am not burdened by self hate or inferiority complex.

Wages are lower but I did my time in England making cash and do not want to live there . The air generally clean where I live traffic is OK and no airplanes over my head all day.

I do not moan that my freedom of movement in Europe has been removed. My neighbours cannot find work but that is not my problem and not the fault if the WAG.

Reform and their kind worked hard to end free trade in Europe and told us new trade deals would be easy. Trump is now planning tariff on UK with a Labour Government in power. Oh dear.

The worrying thing is, Kilky, that just like in the USA with Trump, a lot of people will vote for this bunch from Reform because they make a lot of noise about very emotive issues. As a result politcs will be subsumed, whittled down to 2 or 3 big ticket arguments and we won't hear policies about other vital areas. It'll possibly be immigration, devolution/independence, the NHS here in Wales.

Then we'll see politics go just like it was during Brexit, reduced to the lowest common denominator, filled with hate and loathing and the facts just ignored.

I'll ask you again as you dodged the question last time I'll try again ,where in their manifesto does it say that the NHS will be dismantled to such a state that everyone will need private health insurance , by the way 6.2 million people in the UK had private health insurance in 2023, which is around 12% of the population. This has increased from 5.8 million people in 2022 and 5.4 million people in 2021. and as we know the NHS in Wales is in a perilous state and I can only see those numbers continue to rise, waiting times in Wales are the longest so it comes as no surprise that so many are trying to avoid the queues , and who can blame them , the waiting time for me to see a consultant is over a year , just to be assessed then another year after that , is that acceptable in a modern progressive Wales ? I paid my money and saw one in 3 weeks with time for the op 6 weeks .

Right then Boundy, this is your hero throwing our NHS under the bus ?

Please confirm that you will not now be voting for English Nationalist Nige, not ever ?

This could be a potentially a huge issue for many people, particularly those who are older or have existing conditions who may find the cost of insurance unaffordable. If people think that they are going to lose access to healthcare, it could be a real problem for Farage/Reform.

Hmm, look up sometimes, we are right under the flightpath, there are 6 or 7 planes over head (just very high up) for most of the day.

Freedom of movement hasn't been removed, you are still free to travel you simply need the correct documents.

What Trump is doing now has nothing to do with Brexit, he's sticking tariffs on Europe too. Maybe Starmer shouldn't have sent people out to caampaign for Biden, not a wise move I'm sure you'll agree?

Reform were founded in 2018, Brexit was beofre they existed. Their kind yes but not them. Not that I like |reform or Farage. I mean, I think I'd probably enjoy his company for a while, I bet he'd be a good laugh for a while but then he'd get boring because he'd probably keep repeating stuff.

I will get off the fence , splinters were hurting .

Next GE if Reform are on my ballot paper , they will get my X vote , but I know my constituency will as usual vote for the person with a red rossette on their lapels .
Labour will get in again , no thought of other options , Tory vote forget it .

Reform will never be an elected Government in the UK , but if they shake up that talking shop of hot air in Westminster , kick some butt amongst our useless Politcians , do it .

Small boat situation now out of control it seems , another Kier promise in his manifesto.
