I was dead in line with this in the South Africa Road Stand. I remember all the Barnsley fans applauding it too. đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź

I was In the lower loft.
Michael Parkinson was apparently In the SA stand and mentioned 'that goal' on one of his programmes.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

I stopped listening to it years ago because became The Guardian post-Sky Premier League Football Podcast.

It was very funny, but pure elitism.

It drives me mad because when I'm flicking through the papers over breakfast in W12 on a Saturday morning all the big name journalists opining about the various "crisis" affecting the poor loves at Man City, Man Utd and Spurs don't interest me at all. It's the leftfield, two-page deep dive on whatever happened to Oldham Athletic, or David Walsh' fantastic piece last week on Clive Sullivan, that make me stop and read and I can't be alone in that.

I used to listen to the Football Ramble a lot while I'm running or cooking (not at the same time) but have jacked it in because their Championship 'coverage' is so fcking lazy. They can do you ten minutes on the fcking Copa Libertadores no problem but I doubt they could tell you without looking who's in the Championship bottom three - and that's with a fcking Portsmouth fan on the panel.

Some of the best football journalism this season is from Daniel Storey who is 'doing the 92' and writing a long read on each club as he goes. Would really recommend and I hope he's doing a book from it.

Glossary Klaxon Awwooogah Awwooogah

For everyone who says they were inline with that volley, Loftus Road would have had to be T-shaped with row Z of the South Africa road stand backing onto the Westway.

That said, I was in C block.

I was in line with it in Ellerslie Road. Just saying.

Such a great game, Impey losing his head too was funny in hindsight. After the game, a teenage boy who’d been sat along from us said it had been his first game and asked “Is it always this good?”

Did anyone ever find out what happened to make Impey flip? There must have been previous between them or something must have been said/done off the ball because he put some welly behind that punch.

Joey "Poundland Hardman" Barton should take note - if you're getting sent off, that's how you do it.

Was there too in East Paddock. Alas my (now dearly departed) friend who sat next to me went for a slash when it happened.

I was in the SAR paddock with my teenage nipper, roughly in line with the penalty spot - there was, as has been said, a moment's breathtaking silence as we realised what we had seen, from what seemed initially an unlikely outcome. When the resultant delirium settled, I said to Hants junior that we had just witnessed something very special.

I certainly don’t know, but Impey was a volcano that could go off at any time, eg Coventry away.

We beat a superb Barnsley team three times that season, by a 9-4 aggregate. And still didn’t go up.

They barely even bother to cover all the Premier League on GFW/Ramble/TFS any more. Just leave games out. If you're a Brighton or Palace fan you never get a mention unless you've played a big boy.
At least there are some podcasts out there now which discuss the EFL in depth with NTTT obviously fantastic.

Usually only bother with Football Cliches which at least gave us a full 20 minutes after Jake Livermore scored against us and didn't celebrate and they couldn't believe he had never played for us

I was in the paddocks in line (I know, I know) but with a mate who was a Barnsley fan. I also know another Barnsley fan who you can see behind the goal in the red jacket. He tells me he is sick and tired about hearing about it every time we play them!!

I was in the queens student union in belfast in the Bonatee - for a few socials and ended up pinting like a deamon with a fuzzy recollection how I got home but a clear recollection of the overhead. Which I may have recreated in a phoenix from the flames style replay on the way home and which would have explained why my back was killing me the following day.

Poll: Are we gonna make the play offs?
