Just as we didn’t get carried away with 11 games unbeaten (well not too much anyway) now that we have lost the last three games were not getting too despondent (well not too much anyway).
I am still seething about Tuesday night, not because of Matt Macey, but because of our toothless attack once Lyle Taylor had been substituted.
The silence on transfer deals incoming is deafening and that is causing unrest.
Now I don’t know whether Samson Tovide is truly injured or whether it is a desperate ploy to get would be suitors off the hunt. Apparently he has a hamstring injury but then so does Hunt, Bishop and Iandolo.
Do we really have to sell anyway, can’t we keep Samson and tell the unnamed championship clubs to foxtrot oscar. Where has the money gone from our six prized assets. The war chest must be overflowing with largesse.
If we sign no one else then we must get two strikers in to offer support for Lyle Taylor. Decisions must also be made about Matt Jay and Tom Hopper. Unlike Cyril Lord, he is a luxury we can’t afford. I have always given TH the benefit of the doubt but no more.
For his all his endeavour there is no end product and that cost us the game on Tuesday night.
I said after that game that either Thorn or JK Gordon should be promoted alongside Taylor in attack. Either of them could do a job and have the pace and ability to hurt defences.
Well done DC and the lads plus the Faithfull. Bean following the last hour whilst boarding a Ryanair flight! Ha ha not sure which is the most stressful!

Yep, a great result for us hopefully we can kick on from this.
!2 points off the play-offs with 63 still to play for. If Mr Cowling gives Messrs Cowley the straw this month they could yet make the bricks to build a challenge.

Having not been or seen Bromley's ground I expected a ramshackle ground (it's not) and a backs to the wall performance but the highlights make it look different .. great win either way

Not a ramshackle ground? The away end is a disgrace!
Remember, we had a full capacity 499 U’s fans and in our area….
1. Only one female toilet. 2. Only four male (individual) urinals. 3. Three staff to serve 499 persons - massive queues - many of us needed catering facilities. 4. Away fans refused entry to the better facilities. 5. Cramped seating in a temporary marquee like stand. 6. Obscured views due to uprights supporting canvas roof. 7. Ticketing chaos - many seat numbers didn’t exist for issued tickets. 8. No cover or seating for a majority of U’s fans. 9. Boggy, waterlogged car park. 10. Less refined than Layer Road! 11. Barrow similar, but at least we were welcome in the home clubhouse.
The EFL should demand better standards BEFORE admittance to Division Two.

That's terrible Noah. From the TV coverage, it looked like there was some sort of fence behind the goal that must have obscured the view, especially when there was a corner.
