QPR v Bristol City match thread 09:44 - Dec 12 with 35958 viewsWilkinswatercarrier

Is three in a row possible?

Will the Archibald Leach eleven fold in front of a resurgent Rangers? Will we continue to see Kolli-flower? Does Marti Cifuentes get better looking every time QPR wins?

The Ancient Astronaut theorists say,'YES'! Again!!

A difficult game away, but we are tough to break down. I'm going for a grinding 1-0 win (though a point would be fantastic).

Field heads it off our line! Yikes!

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

No idea why Nardi didn't come out for that ball. Field has bailed him/us out there clearing off the line

Shit but local

We need a no. 10 that can hold onto the ball. I'd actually say that was more of a priority than a striker or left back in Jan. From Jan we need to look to get Andersen or Madsen, or both, out.

70 accurate passes for you in that half folks.

That's one every 41 seconds.

You've never had it so good.

Passing success in the attacking third just 10%.

No idea how they've worked that out. We haven't even had 10 passes in their half

On the bright side we should be nice and fresh for the second half as we've expended little energy so far.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Another terrible 1st half. We've been 2nd to everything. Barely any possession in their half.

some dire performances there - saito and smyth were bad but Andersen really needs to come off at half time - he’s running around like a (slow) banshee but the moment he gets the ball he immediately gives it to the nearest city player

I know you can't blame just one person for this debacle, but it's Anderson.

Chair and Frey on the bench. Maybe that first half was part of a cunning plan?

Or we're just not very good.

I genuinely didn't think we - or indeed any professional football team - could play a worse 45 minutes than midweek against Oxford. So quite how we've managed that is beyond me

0-0 but f*ck me we’ve stunk the place out .
A bit embarrassing if I’m honest. What in gods name has happened to Andersen?
Saito and Smyth almost as bad . Kolli just inexperienced away from home and it shows msssively .

We can’t play anything close to that bad again in the second half and expect a point.

This is boring to watch isn't it.

It is, can we hold out, to be honest will be happy with a point. But it will be a long 2nd half if we can't get going.

Hull winning with 32% possession.
Knob End winning with 34% possession.

Just need that missing 5 -7 %

Does Anderson have another year on his contract after this season, or is this it? I recall seeing on here that a couple of our more senior players have player options for next season (Cook and Colback maybe).

Job done.

Lulled them into a false sense of security that we are utter cack. Marti will work his usual half time magic and then we'll smash 'em in the second half...

Half time and 0-0, excellent. For all their possession City have only created a couple of decent chances. A few boos from the City fans as the half time whistle blew.

Marti will make changes, Morgan will be on soon I would imagine. Continue to restrict their chances and hopefully catch them on the break or with a rare set piece.

Careful Jimmy.
