Season Tickets 25/26 09:32 - Dec 11 with 2085 views | Whiterockin | Traditionally this is the week that the season ticket pricing structure is released for next season. Will the club be imaginative to try and get supporters to return and if so will we sell more. Apparently £9M coming into the club from the new Sky deal, more than we take in gate receipts so there is room for flexibility. I am happy with what I pay for ours and will renew anyway, but we need more families in the ground. Big decision to be made by the club hopefully the right one.

I believed it was £9M minimum including worldwide rights. Incorporating the 20? minimum live games a club is on tv with extra payments over and above this, more if you are home than away.

Its a lot more complicated than that. There is a removal of the iFollow payment, the increase from Sky is £60M for the championship clubs plus facilities fees. Season 22/23 (the last accounts) showed we received £8.7M broadcasting revenue. Match day revenue was £3.5M. If it is accepted that the Sky deal will increase the broadcasting revenue this season over two years ago, there has to be some scope with season ticket sales to attract families. With the lower gates this season Broadcasting revenue will be at least three times the gate money. https://swissramble.substack.com/p/swansea-city-finances-202223

Correct broadcasting revenue was £8.7 million but this not all paid by Sky. Other broadcasting revenues include worldwide revenue, ITVs revenue for showing EFL matches and BBC revenues for showing FA cups matches. These revenues are received from either the FA or EFL who negotiate these deals. The EFL gets around £148 for selling worldwide TV rights. The PL also give the EFL £150 million a year as a share of its worldwide TV rights. Swansea accounts for season 22/34 are not very transparent on season ticket sales or match day sales either with just £3.5 under matchday income In season 22/23 Swansea had around 11,000 season tickets at and average price of £459 which should account for £5 milliom in season tickets sales. Our average attendance season 22/23 was 16549 so that would mean 5549 tickets sales per game 5549 ×30x 23= £3.828 million. [Post edited 12 Dec 9:26]

Your figures are not very accurate but I am not going to argue the point. My point was broadcasting revenue has increased and by far outstrips gate receipts so there is the room to maneuver in family ticket prices. The match day revenue is accurate, the average ticket price is nowhere near £459, your calculations are way off. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/swansea-city-launch-2022-23-season-ticket-campa The adult and child offer that season was excellent and what we need to reintroduce. This is my point, the South stand was quite full that season. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

£350 for an adult and child I would have liked to seen it at £295 or similar with a free child, but it is a start.

An adult season ticket is £400 So and adult and a child at £350 is £50 less than an adult meaning adult gets an extra £50 off and the child goes free. It will be worth an adult buying an adult and child season ticket even if he does not have a child to take which works out at just £15 per game.

Is there an adult price in the South if not with a child? All other stands are £411. I'm not sure where you got the £400 from.

Adult price in South stand without a child is the same price as all other stands at £411 from Swansea official site So an extra discount to my original post. Adults in South stand with a child pays £350 which is £61 less than normal adult price. The children effectively go free. Even better than I originally thought.

Will be even better if they accept cash at the stadium. Introduce a paper match day programme on sale on the day like the vast majority of PL and EFL clubs to engage and informs fans and give an extra reason to turn up.

From what I've just read the highest price ticket next season is 459. Given the increased tv revenue I would have thought they would try harder to draw people in.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Great and just to reiterate "Supporters who have previously purchased their season tickets via instalment plans; please note that for the 2025-26 season, the Club is finalising arrangements for a service that will see a further saving available (compared to this season’s plans) as there will not be an interest charge this year. Season ticket holders and new purchasers will be contacted once this service is live".

Season Tickets 25/26 on 17:46 - Dec 19 with 470 views | johnlangy | Bought mine today. I've had an ST since 1978 but last year was the first time I actually considered not renewing. I'm so glad Kaplan and Levein are gone. Now we can actually look forward again. I don't expect the new owners to spend a fortune but I do expect that they will do things that improve the Club and make us more competitive. If that wasn't the plan then there'd be no reason for them to buy. Mr Positive.
