I was really disappointed with Wrexham, they offered little and were very poor defensively. On Barry he played mostly wide left and cut inside a lot, not a number 9 at all.

He's a real talent, but as you say he's certainly not a number 9 If Villa do decide to let him go, it will be a hefty fee

If he played more central in the number 10 role it would be a different matter.

At a wild guess James McClean, A man who photographed himself giving his children a history lesson in a balaclava. A despicable individual

Striker Ideas that we could realistically get on 11:01 - Nov 20 with 684 views | TimBowen | If you're talking 'cheeky bids,' how about a 'very cheeky bid' for last night's Icelandic Striker Andri Gudjohnsen? Not only did he score their goal, I was also worried every time he had the ball in our half. He's Eidur Gudjohnsen, the ex Chelsea and Barcelona striker's son. He's currently playing for Gent in the Belgium league. Would he fancy an introduction into the potential money-spinning EFL, under the watchful eyes of the Premier League scouts? Yeah, I know...it's a very long shot indeed...but if you don't ask etc.

I don’t know the name, but the centre forward who went off injured looked a handful.

Oskarsson & he's a quality player. Real Sociedad paid 20 million for him in the summer so that's not going to happen unfortunately!

The Montenegran guy who scored three looked red hot. Krstovic. From comments I have seen Swansea already have a top striker in Cullen. They big him up then say we need some one new.

Not sure if you watched last night, but Cullen wasn’t playing up front. We definitely need a new striker.

Has a decent scoring record, but I think … He’s in Serie A. Mid 20’s ?

This is always the thing with Cullen. He is never picked in his correct position no matter where he plays. He was no good at no 9 when I have seen him. He could be the Teddy Sheringham role but needs pace alongside him as a with James and Johnson. I believe Colwill is way better than him in the 10 role but he is not perceived to work as hard defensively .
