With so few away fans at tonights game, there will be a few watching it on tv tonight , big questions are should it be KWP for Taylor and Brereton Diaz for Archer in the starting line up

Well coached, highly organised team vs shambolic bunch of individuals

Sadly, it looks like Martin is out of his depth at this level. To his credit, you can see he is trying something different, but it's a different team and formation every game now with no real belief in it.

Bournemouth look like team & we look like a bunch of individuals who have never met.
We are playing like a team that knows they are already relegated & this is only our 6th game.

Premier League stats over a period of 20 years showed that if a promoted team doesn't get at least 8 points from its first 10 games, it will almost certainly be relegated. With only 1 point from our first 6 games, we need 2 wins and a draw from our next 4 games to have even a slim hope of staying up. Any new manager would have to be a miracle worker to keep us up now. Let's hope there is one out there.

Where Do you start with the questions for RM? As it's Not just a poor game, it's embarrassing.
Play your Best Player totally out of Position to take his biggest assets out of the game?
Ugochukwu is totally out of his depth, not for the first time. It does Not even make sense to develop him as He's not ours and He obviously Doesnt care.
KWP, easily one of the Best players of the Club is left out again while Taylor is out of his depth too.
What are the tactics today - invite the press, Lose the Ball time and time again, back off and concede? You have to wonder what RM's Plan might be? Poor selection, Dibling wasted while All the CFs are benched (with Diaz probably the Best of the though never plays there). Maybe RM lives in some parallel universe where he is smarter than everyone else. In this one He for sure is deluded to say the least.

We have 3 PL level players and trying to play like Man City will only end in one way.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Yep. He is £18m better than McCarthy !

Are you really suggesting Ramsdale was responsible for any of those goal ?
[Post edited 30 Sep 20:52]

Sorry I couldn’t keep up, make that 10 goals conceded now.

Mccarthy in goal at Newcastle and at home to Forest and we lose both games 1-0. According to my maths that’s 1 goal a game conceded.

Ramsdale in goal at Brentford, home to Man Utd and Ipswich plus tonight’s abomination with forty five minutes still to play. According to my maths that’s 2.5 goals a game conceded so far.

£18 million better than McCarthy City boy ? Not when you look at the facts I would suggest.

That was a bit strange ? Wonder if he has been given his marching orders already ?

Your team is 3-0 down and you come out to the dug out 1-2 minutes early before your team ?

Why do we rely on defenders to score goals?

We should not have been promoted. We were along way from being ready and it shows. I am not even sure a change of manager can change the script. I have a ticket for Saturday and I am dreading it. Ramsdale will be dreading it too no doubt.

I think you're right A1079 as we all said that when promotion was confirmed, but hoped for a decent transfer window
Alas ......

Nailed it kingslandstand1 confirming what I’ve been saying for weeks.

Our Recruitment Team ( if indeed we have one ) managed to do the almost impossible in spending a nett £70 million to end up with a squad full of young hopefuls and Championship underachievers.

Russell Martin is being slated for attempting the impossible in being asked to compete in The Premiership with a Championship squad.

The fella that manages Man City wouldn’t save us from relegation given the players currently at Martin’s disposal.

Never did I think Saints would be 3-0 down at half time to Bournemouth.
We manage to make poor/average sides at best sides look brilliant.
oh! did Archer touch the ball?

Thoroughly disappointing. The damage was done by HT thanks to a really shabby display by Saints. No one really knew what they were meant to be doing - and that's down to RM.

Bournemouth took their foot off the pedal second half - we could all see that. We didn't have a single shot on target after THB pulled one back. Shameful.

A small matter of Arsenal away next. Just when you think things couldn't get much worse...

He tries but he's 28 and he's spent most of his career in lower leagues in Scotland. He's only ever played less than half a season in the Championship, let alone the Premier League.

He was bought for the Championship and that's his level. You could say the same of several of the players we've signed recently. Ugochukwu, another player we had high hopes of, also looks lost at this level. He couldn't cope with the skill levels and pace of the Bournemouth players tonight, but he'll probably be OK in the Championship.
