What’s that noise? Oh it’s just the government slamming into reverse on all of their wonderful “fully costed” pledges and manifesto commitments. After spending the last decade and a half slagging off previous governments for austerity, cuts and not spending enough they are now happy to do exactly the same thing for the next decade and a half.

This country is broken. I wouldn’t trust any of these middle manager types from either side to run a small corner shop, let alone the country.

and maybe that's why traditional labour voters didn't bother to vote

They would never have won the election without "traditional" Labour voters.

Some of the far left crazies have shifted to Socialist Worker Parties, and even more to the Greens (same thing but better at hiding it), but most people who voted Labour before did so again at this election. Their vote totals have barely shifted over several elections.

The people who didn't vote on Jul 4th were the ones who voted Tory last time.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
