It's looking much better isn't it.
LB probably weakest point (no depth).
We could probably cope with losing Chair now Saito, Dembele and Madsen, but less so if JCS goes. I just hope it's not last minute like when we lost Remy and couldn't replace him.

Fox can play LB but agreed he is injured and Paal as we know, is losing form
If we don't get someone in even on a loan, I think we could be okay. JCS can play LB, Dunne slipping into CB and then we have Cannon or Santos for RB.
We can cope if we don't sign anyone else.
If, we are greedy then a LB and yet another forward would be nice. But the squad looks large now.
I suspect EDB and the kids like Lloyd will be loaned out now. |  |

By all accounts we have room for one more signing.
Am thinking seen as number two still free, it will be a left back and Owen Beck is touted.
But also there was some chat about selling Paal as has only one year left on his contract.
If we sell Paal realistically we could need two left backs but Fox could be considered as one of them perhaps.
If that happens and we get £2 million for that, I would personally try for another centre forward, but it's an unlikely scenario. [Post edited 23 Aug 19:43]

I think we're probably done in terms of signings aside from any potential last-minute loans once Premier League clubs have finalised their squads. I do reckon we could still do with a proper replacement for Kakay (i.e. someone who can fill in anywhere across the backline in case of emergency, rather than a not-quite-good-enough starting fullback), if Paal gets injured we don't really have anyone to play LB whilst Fox is also out. |  | | |
