Larkeche - How To Fit in Starting XI 11:56 - Dec 14 with 4102 viewsParkRoyalR

Larkeche changed that game last night when he came on and but for his concussion I thought was most likely to get behind their defensive lines and deliver a quality pass / cross into the box,

Appreciate he may have ended up as a Left Wing Back in a squad with Fulham's talents, but for me should be a starter in a more advanced position, ideally in a 4-2-3-1 (Larkeche on Left, with Chair & Willock alternating between Central and Right positions in the 3, with Smyth coming off the bench)

Larkeche's aggressive forward running in behind last night was excellent and if Chair (or Willock) in the middle can see these runs and play the early ball, it changes the dynamic of our attacking play.

When did he get concussed? Wondered why he got subbed!

Excellent impact sub for his running and aggression. As a starter? Not sure yet.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

Bravely went for a headed challenge he maybe should'nt have, Plymouth player saw him coming and put in a fairly forceful body-check in at head height which left him concussed.

We need him outside Chair running that left flank in the way Lee Wallace did to such effect.

Plymouth players knew Chair was coming in on his right foot last night (as Cannon was outside him with no left foot) and it was why we were fairly one-dimensional and easier to defend against once Larkeche went off.

yeah, it was just next to us. he looked really woozy and out of it and punch drunk. he was arguing with the physio to be allowed to play on. Chair put an arm round his shoulder and seemed to be telling him that he needed to stop.

hope he has a speedy recovery.

Wouldn't mind seeing played at Left back with Paal coming into midfield. Paal has done that quite often, moving into centre midfield from left back during build up play and at one point was moved to midfield after some substitutions

MC really complimented him in his press conference and said he wanted to play on but the medical staff said no.
If he plans for him to be an attacking threat like he is already and an impact sub then its basically another new addition compared to his experience with Ainsworth.
We have Willock back also I think that is obvious so the squad looks stronger and we still have room for 5 loans .
I sense a real shift in the tide at QPR because there is zero chance we would have got a draw last night while playing terrible according to Marti

The loan market in Jan is going to be so key for us.

and to add insult to injury, literally, they got a free kick!

Larkeche is exactly the sort of player we want coming off the bench.

He’s nowhere near as good as Paal and I’m not convinced he’s a full back either. But he is skilful, can run at teams, can run off the ball (which in this team is beyond most of them) plus his fallibility of distributing suicide balls when pressured is less of an issue if he’s up the pitch rather than down our end.

I thought he did show outside both Chair and Willock last night, but they both seemed reluctant to pass to him. No idea why that would be because he looks pretty useful

Because he was a bit stupid and dangerous. He jumped into an opponent, which is a foul. Unfortunately he came of worst.

Love that he wanted to stay on and play...great to see from one of our lot...love the aggressive forward runs and desire shown when he's been on recently
