Wales u21 unbeaten for over a year and about 6-7 games. Three tough away games negotiated Denmark Czechia and Latvia.
Congreve and Cooteril were great in earlier games but confined to the bench recently. Savage is one of the few Wesh players that can do accurate long range passing to advance wingers and wing backs. Wales certainly could not do this in Armenia.
Colwill had the Danes in panic in the 2-2 away game where Matt Jones's tactics let them off the hook at 1-2 down and with only 9 men. With a two man advantage I like to see coaches go for the throat not park the bus. He took Colwill off possibly with agreement with Cardiff city.
Wales have never qualified for he u21 champs. This is a defining game. Harris is a big prospect and I want to see more from him. Stevens has improved a lot and is captain. Joe Taylor will probably replace Josh Thomas. He is getting game time and a lot of goals in the lower leagues on loan from Luton. Unfortuanetly the injuring prone tricky speedster Pat Jones is out.

A cowardly selection in my opinion. He has left his star man on the bench. Colwill tormented the Danes over there. Another example of a Welsh coach not going for the throat.

Colwill is decent when playing with younger players, he simply hasn’t matched up to expectation, much of it from the Cardiff based press which has proven to be utter nonsense.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Cardiff write off their players early. Cullen and Ollie Cooper are going on 24. Colwill is 21.
It is a stroll in the park for the Danes. Their attacking passing is a different level to Wales. Colwill links the defence to the forwards much better.
Wales are playing like the first team. Low tempo no urgency and unsure of their identity.

It was 1-2.
The two creative players he has who started on the bench. Congreve another not even on the bench. Colwill freekick Ashford rebound. Like I said too late. Its is called a lack of bravery by the coach Matt Jones.
Wales cannot get anywhere playing for draws and hoping for a lucky break.

I was just clarifying the correct score for those who didn't watch. I didn't want them to think incorrectly we lost 2-0.
