Ronnie Rees: Former Wales, Swansea and Coventry winger dies aged 79 - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67278535

Played football with his son in mid 80s.

A real nice man, always had bits of advice, I knew he was a pro bit didn't realise how good he was.

RIP Ronnie.

Signed for us in 1972 from Forest for £26.000, big money in those days, sadly his better days were behind him.

When he suffered a stroke in 1995, he was in Clydach hospital along side my father in law who had suffered the same.

He lost his speech and I don't think he ever regained it, fair play he lived so long after the stroke.

RIP Ronnie

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

A good signing at the time, had great pace but had some rough treatment from third division cloggers.

RIP.

Ronnie was one of life's jokers, and was one of the most genuine and generous men I had the pleasure of being in his company.

Life was so fvcking cruel Ronnie

RIP YJB

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

I've just seen a photo of him in a Coventry team of the mid sixties - Jimmy Hill was the manager .
