Union, Just let it happen. It’s out of our control. It is however,on my opinion,so utterly pitiful. I cannot believe these owners have ever employed and dismissed employees . We deserve better Martin s departure is six months overdue For me,his leaving is like Jesus walking into the wilderness

The benefits of waiting. Manager and players Losses for early action Martin compensation MINUS £1m * pay off Signing Ogbene MINUS £2m Signing Key MINUS £1m Total expenditure MINUS £4m Likely outcome no promotion. 95% + chance Potential savings Martin Compo PLUS £1.5m* Ogbene Free Key Free NET PLUS £1.5m* NET Balance (of waiting) £5.5m Notionally Ogbene / Key will want wage enhancement £1m*. * Rough estimates. They are clueless see butt. [Post edited 21 Jun 2023 16:25]

"My aim is to get this club back where it belongs - in the top flight of English football," Martin said. And so it starts 🤣 Sorry, not meant to reply, fat fingers, pressed the wrong 💬🤠[Post edited 21 Jun 2023 18:54]

First time in a long while that I think we will be gaining a better manager than the one who is going. Well.played by the owners even if it did take forever.

As you know I was one of Russ's biggest critics if not the biggest, I have been supporting this club long before the PL days and I suspect long before you Nowt wrong with 3 at the back provided your wing backs are set up properly....Cooper employed that tactic But now we move on Duff arrives here with a much better win percentage than the outgoing manager in his career to date Martin has achieved a 36.87 win percentage ...37.50% at MKDons and 36.36 with us no improvement but a regression whilst Duff has a career win percentage of 43.7 % ,40.4% whilst at Cheltenham then 55.2% at Barnsley he has certainly improved his winning and apparantly whilst playing attractive football...and got his team to the play offs....so it all looks good....formations are not always an issue as can be seen if Duff likes 3 at the back he also knows how to get wins unlike our previous manager who I wish well but expect to be a full time restrautuer come next January

SO are you up for throwing in £3K with 14999 others then putting in a further £1K per year to keep the club afloat If we can get a consortium together then we can get them to ride off into the sunset but in the meanwhile unless we fans can muster the funds to take the club on we are stuck with what we have. Actually form a business perspective they are running things well the club is stable yes from a fans perspective given where we were in the PL years things are massively different but I remember the post Div 1 years in the Tosh days and we are much better placed now or would you rather another Petty or Michael Thompson scenario?

The history books will show a well run club, or would you prefer someone like Petty again. Be careful what you wish for
