Sam Field finally scores after getting in brilliant positions and never getting anywhere near scoring.

We beat Burnley away!!!!

Seven points out of twelve against top two. If we had matched that against all the rest...we would be flying. We are strange club alright 🤔😎

Couldn't bear to read the match thread, couldn't watch from the 70th minute as too tense. Managed to see the second goal and watched injury time from between my fingers.

We're not quite safe yet but a massive boost for the team and the fans.

We looked so nervous in the first half but settled a bit once we scored.

We've had some rotten luck since October (Stroud refereeing us eleventy billion times for a start) so we deserved a bit today.

Stand up Sam Field and Rob Dickie, with memorable mentions for Lowe and Armstrong, just electrifying when he makes those runs, and he helped pin them back once he came on.

And only one defeat in six games against last seasons relegated clubs.

We have a continuous problem with the games where we are expected to dictate the game. We have to get more athletic mobile players into the midfield next season and in part in our forward line.

Our defenders have been getting a mauling from us all this year but it’s a thankless task when those in front of you are so immobile.

I watched the first half but couldn't bear to watch the second half - went off to do some writing and keep my head down..... ffs!

Thanks Brian. I've been going to/watching matches but I couldn''t post as I didn't have anything else to add.

Had a great time in the Crown and Sceptre chatting to Clive's biggest Aussie fan over from Sydney on Wednesday though. Realised that whatever happens, you can't beat a club that has someone travelling across the world to see their first game live at HQ at the age of sixty when we're flirting with relegation from the Championship! (Hi again if you're reading and I think today's win was a delayed reaction from all the lucky black cats we saw on the way to Loftus Road!) Puts it all in perspective and cheered me up no end. Today was the icing on the cake.

Hope all good with you and yours.

All's great, thanks Nix.

You're right - there's no beating our club.

I was chatting about Rangers earlier this morning with a few friends and I realised that they were envious of my love for our club.

As they should be.
