Whatever. You believe what you like. However you spend more time on here than me. Guess that tells a story of how unfulfilling your life is ?
My contribution is worthwhile and done when I am working at the same time and in data mode. It’s always good to have side entertainment in the working day.
I certainly wouldn’t be up at midnight posting emojis that’s for sure.

Perfect example, side by side of levels of contribution.
You aren’t doing yourself any favours if you are trying to distance yourself from that “troll” tag.
In another thread you interrupted and derailed a discussion to tell everyone you aren’t interested in the points being discussed …
It is only you that ever goes on about trolls. As you do it yourself then I guess you know all about it. As for your endless long threads going on and on and on about the same points, often in multiple threads, you imagine many are really interested in what you have to say ? Lots start off trying to have a sensible discussion with you, but because you have no respect for any views that aren't perfectly attuned to yours, they often descend into your moving goalpost type of discussions. It is a shame as you are obviously knowledgable, but the angle you come from often lets you down, plus your constant asking for examples, rather than learning to accept others viewpoints with good grace

Nope, you were accused of trolling when you claimed to have me on ignore too by others. You ended up admitting it.
Yes, many high value posters are very interested in what I have to say.
You seem to have a lazy approach where you expect your points to hold value without being questioned or explored. That’s the whole point in discussion.
Which goalposts moved? Any examples?

Case in point with you again asking for examples. One or two are interested in what you have to say. Why do you keep on about me having previously had you on ignore ? That is a prime example of you constantly reiterating the same point. Nobody cares about the fact I no longer have you on ignore, including the admins. As I have stated as long as I am not abusive to you in my replies or posts to you, then they are fine with it. Perhaps you should start learning to let things go and accept others viewpoints. Even people like Guthrie, OHL and Vetch, who I have in the past had some heated exchanges with, do that and we have had some pleasant exchanges, agreeing to disagree. Try it sometime. Makes the world a nicer place

Don’t you think that’s fair then, if someone is falsely accusing you of something, to ask for an example.
Absolutely no issue with someone asking another to back up their utterances.
The people I discuss views with seem happy to debate the merits of the views, you see debate as offence and immediately wish to “agree to disagree”. Others find value in debate and learning things they may not know.
If you actually read views instead of trying to disrupt discussion you may also learn something you didn’t previously know. Most posts seem to be a back and forth with you after you getting involved and saying something off topic.

I discuss the subjects with them yes.
You are the only one who insists on going round in circles talking about nothing in particular, making accusations you won’t back up etc
One is discussion another is trolling. Notice I don’t label them as such, although daps can fall into trolling also, but you seem to do it constantly.

We have had discussions back and forth on various topics over the last couple of weeks, but then when you get annoyed you start talking all the nonsense about trolling, having you on ignore and even having me banned for daring to answer you ? Perhaps we could both agree to draw a line under it and keep threads on point from now on ? Even if my replies are short they will be my opinion

That was the rule of the forum, if you report someone then you have to ignore them from then on in. You didn’t so was asking for clarity regarding that rule, or for the rule to be imposed considering I abided by it.
But I don’t get annoyed at anything on here. I just think it’s a shame when threads get completely derailed for no apparent reason other than a personal dislike for someone.

I have never said I dislike you? Please show me examples if I have said that on here? Or do you mean you dislike me, even though as far as I know we have not met ?

If you show me examples of me moving goalposts, I’ll happily provide you with examples that clearly show your disdain, and subsequent detailing.

Nah sure you got the wrong fella. There are lots of things about your posts and your attitude on here I dislike, but I have never expressed any dislike for you personally on here ? Not in my nature to dislike people, especially the ones I haven't met yet ?

You have personally attacked me and my character several times.
As always, if you stick to the topic and post honestly then we will never have an issue. The problems come when you post emojis, take topics off discussion point by telling us you don’t care about it or have no interest in it, or make false accusations surrounding moving goalposts etc and refusing to show where.
Stick to football, be genuine - we will be fine.

Never attack led you personally. I have questioned your character, as you have questioned mine. You have also ridiculed me on many occasions. You see all the supposed slights on you yet never accept responsibility for yours on me. It's a two way street. You be polite to me and you can expect the same back. Try and put me down and expect the same back. Also you need to learn to see faults in yourself that you are quick to point out in others. You surely recognise that part of your "style" is to twist and turn "discussions " frequently. This is what I mean by moving goalposts. At the end of the day though, you respect me and my posts and I will do the same Enjoy your day

I am always polite.
I don’t see myself moving the goalposts in any discussion, no. That’s why I have asked you to give me an example of what you are talking about.
For example, the last time you accused me of that was when I reiterated my initial question after someone answering something I didn’t ask.
You felt that me informing them that their answer was not what I asked was “moving the goalposts”.
I asked would you swap Ayew for Piroe in relation to this team now, in a discussion about whether Piroe is an upgrade. The answer was Piroe in Coopers team would be great… that’s not what I asked.
So clarifying that is not moving anything.

That literally means nothing. You are attributing chances from other players to him.
For example you are giving Darlings 7 foot high crosses to Ayew, you are giving Piroes long range shots, you are giving obafemis through balls and subsequent 1 on 1’s… in other words chances that would absolutely not fall to him.
Again, if using data please understand it.
As per usual, all the work has been done for you with regards to data, all you have to do is read it.
So whatever our xG as a side is, in any given year - Piroe will score more as he finishes a higher % of chances that come his way. Much of which aren’t chances at all, they are 25 yard pile drivers. It’s this subverting of reality that I described as argumentative earlier by the way.
Thankfully the majority in the poll seem to understand.

It means we are creating more chances. Does it not stand to reason that the focal point of our attack will get his share of them?
Didn’t he have the worst xg stats in the championship a couple of months ago?

Which chances do you think we get in this team then out of interest?
Again, the person who has had the most chances in the 6 yard box is Harry Darling. A third of our top scorers goals come from long range shots. We have the third lowest touches in the opponents 6 yard box - which is where Ayew got 60% of his non penalty goals from, with only 1 being outside the box.
This becomes obvious when you see our attacking heat map, we don’t go near the opponents danger area, the area Ayew thrives. So what chances are you referring to? It seems purely set up for someone of Piroes skillset.
To go back to this point, we agree they have different skill sets.
Ayew is far better beating defenders, Piroe is a much better finisher. Shooting wise, Ayew is very one footed and will invariably try to work it on to his left foot. Piroe is good enough with his right that he doesn’t have to do that. He’s also better from a bit further out.
The same chance falls to both players 5 yards outside the area, there’s a strong possibility that Piroe will hit it straight away on either foot. Ayew will risk running at his man and getting closer to goal to shoot with his stringer foot. They are different chances by the time each player has shot.

Nope, xG is not an indication of amount.
But even if it was, shot to goals ratio is higher for Piroe. Meaning whenever they have an equal amount of chances, Piroe scores more.
Be that in a side with an xG of 10.0 or 0.1.
You can’t have “worst xG stats”. You seem to have a misunderstanding of what xG is. You can have a low xG, but that’s not an indication of you as a player, it’s an indication of the chances you get.

For him to beat the men you say he does (his dribbling stats aren’t as good as you suggest, he had limited pace) there would need to be deep lying defence. There isn’t, hence why we have incredibly low touches in the box and Piroe has to striker a huge amount of his goals from outside the box.
But again this just comes down to chance conversion, Piroes is significantly higher despite the majority of his chances being harder than Ayews, of which a 36% come from within 6 yards, as opposed to only 3% in Piroes case.

Sorry. It was either shot or chance conversion rate. Not now, this was a couple of months ago. He’s been on a decent run since then.
