Considering Wilco was given less than a year in 2013 the guy did well. I think it was a surgeon fan who had another look at him after the original prognosis. Massive operation and lived another 9 years. Pancreatic Cancer is a tough one. Many signs are not seen until stage 3 or 4. Horrible disease.

Pancreatic Cancer is such a f*cker because by the time you know you've got it it's probably already too late. It's one of those we really should screen for.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

A mate and a good friend lost his life to the dam thing, he was losing weight, but nobody knew why, next thing he was diagnosed Stage 4. nobody deserves to suffer with that horrible disease, thing is there are so many other disgusting diseases.
He’ll be missed, he put a smile on a lot of faces.
I saw Wilko and Norman Watt Roy at the Ealing Blues Festival in the Summer . They closed one of best two day festivals I've been to . He was incredible , a bundle of energy , with one of the most unique playing styles , never see his like again .

The one thing I would commend the Welsh Government on is the Bowel test which will now will be sent at an earlier age. However I would make blood tests and examinations available for Prostrate at early 50's to every man. This is a killer in men which can be prevented if caught early.

Very true. Wilco was initially wrongly diagnosed with it. As was my mother. She spent three months thinking she was dying before they worked out that it was only a cyst.
