Possibly Patterson or Ntcham or both on the way out and in as a replacement. But I would like to see Congreve in there, even after Saturday. |
But Pato and Ntch are attacking players, Cundle appears to be another CDM, not what we need.
We are told no one will come in unless someone leaves then we bring in a player we don't need. It just seems so senseless and clueless to me.
We need wing backs, as long as Martin is here. Martin won't play Ogbeta and Sorinola is rubbish so obviously, we bring in a player in a position where we arent short. |  |

The current squad looks strong to me. They are not performing but each sector of the team has real quality.
The addition of the two loans bring power and pace and Drameh would bring balance. It could be argued a better manager than Martin would be very happy with this squad. |  |

TBH Martin will not get the best out of these.
Piroe took months
Obafemi half a season
Pateson held the manager to ransom
Williams and Burns were lost
Wolf made little impression and quite a few of our prospects were poorly managed (as is happening this season with Congrieve).
Martin has the right idea but not the skill or man management to meet his ambition. |  |

Nowhere near top 6 squad, I am not expecting much from the two loanees from the youtube clips I have seen. We are still painfully short of quality wing backs and no playmaker type player, we also need our strikers not to move tomorrow.
With the current situation as it is, I am expecting a relegation battle and if form continues nailed on for relegation. Last Saturday, the players looked completely lost with Russell's system and now it's been a year+ plus. I honestly don't know when our next win is coming. [Post edited 31 Aug 2022 17:15]
