Yes and in spite of result! The team were top class and there is no way we should be in bottom half of table. I have had mixed feelings about Ralph but now realise he is the best manager for us right now and hopefully he will continue to get the best out of the team we have!!

Wasn't at the game but saw some of it on the stream. I have seen nothing but positivity across social media, so Saints obviously played ever so well!
Managed to see about 20 odd minutes though an atrocious stream....support was great and extremely loud..enjoyed the you'll never win the Johnstone's Cup tmretort to their you'll never win the champions league bollocks..very funny indeed.
Lyanco looked far better and FF was solid..
Terrible thunder and lightning storm here last night and the inevitable power cut..ended the evenings fun.
Shame the same couldn't be said of the chelsea fans
If only they had made the same noise inside the ground as they did outside the ground after the match.
The fans were great all game - even after we went behind and especially in the last 10 mins, trying our best to roar us on to a win.
In contrast, I know it was only a 'poxy league cup game against lowly Southampton', but Chelsea only sang about 4 songs all game. Those in the upper stand to our right didn't sing at all. They didn't even clap Livramento when he warmed up - probably wasn't aware of who he was.
Our 'Ground full of tourists' chants was spot on !!
At least Mount got us singing 'Pompey got Battered' even louder with his hands to ears gestures and it was fitting that his spot kick was saved. I said at the time that FF would save at least 1, but the question was whether we could score 5.
One thing to mention though. The Chelsea fans we spoke to on the way up seemed to think that we would have the whole of the Shed End - about 7,000 fans. Apparently this is the norm for these sort of cup ties. We took about 7k or so to Spurs for the FA Cup replay the other year, so we really should have taken the larger allocation for this game - although Saints have always taken the smaller allocations for the league games at Chelsea for as long as I can remember (except for this season).
Bring on the FA Cup !!
....but before that, we need to start winning some league games.

There isn't a worse song sung than that pompey got battered sh*t, it's a song we stole from the skates, we sing it in a northern accent for some f*cking baffling reason and it makes us look tin pot.

I agree it is a song sung by literally everyone at the moment, also we have started singing Southampton till I die, a song popular with lower division clubs about 15 years ago.
It is time that we added a bit of originality to our repetoire
Satisfying The Bloodlust Of The Masses In Peacetime
Already a version of that that’s been tried in the itchen north
If Armstrong scores 500 goals And Armstrong scored 500 more And when they score 1000 goals Then they score 1000 more Adam Armstrong (Stuart Armstrong) Stuart Armstrong (Adam Armstrong) Da da da, da da da, da, da da daaa
The tino one to come on Eileen, literally the to ra do ra day bit but instead Tino Tino livramento Seems to be catching at last which is good.
Also for Broja to the tune of Fernando
There’s someone in the red and white Scored goals on sight, Armando He’s buying a chippie tea, For you and me, Armando.
And we’re still trying with dock of the bay as a generic Southampton going
Left my home in Hampshire Headed out from Weston bay I’ve got something to live for Love Southampton till my dying day Oh Sittin on the dock of the bay, watching tide roll away Sitting on the dock of the bay, wastin time
