Would make sense, he had a good tournament for Wales. I thought we may have him for another year but I think I'd prefer Roberts going to Grimes with all due respect to him.

Become a nobody at Turf Moor, even more money maybe, and in ten years time in that part of the country he will be Conner who ?

Someone is going to want to play with wingbacks and he’s a perfect signing. Definitely PL level in that position.

Roberts and Grimes are the only ones I can see interesting PL clubs this summer.

I only see Roberts interesting the PL, the way our midfield performed for a lot of last season I can' see Grimes being wanted which is a positive for me. I think if we put the right player alongside Grimes we'll have a decent midfield, we just need to stop being negative.

Besides, Roberts has served us well and deserves his chance.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

If Grimes goes to a PL club I will eat my proverbial hat.

Our sister site seems to think it could happen. I’m gambling on Woodman swap for Grimes.

Hang on now Guv.
You suggesting Woody is bought by us and Newcatle get Grimes for free basically

Clearly,we are nuts and your positivity mantra is misplaced and I say that with great respect.

Great pro and he would do well there. Plenty of lovely property around Burnley area and he will settle down quickly.

Big big loss for us but he deserves better than to be farked around by the likes of Steven Cooper

Pag said this of Connor in the Euros.

"Honestly I have never seen anyone run like it in all my life. He is the fittest man I have ever met. There was no holding him back"

He was undone by Wales s poor passing overstretching at another misdirected pass from Morrell. OK at Luton no good at top level. Same goes for Ampadu, Wilson, Brooks Allen and Ramsey.

He doesn't even get in Luton's team does he?

I thought he looked completely out of his depth, no fault of his own.

I wouldn't swap Grimes for Woodman, I'd rather give Benda a go. I don't know enough about Obafemi to say but he is a striker, so maybe?

Swapping Grimes for Woodman, travesty that would be.

In reality the transfer fee for Grimes would be written off with one swing of Woodman's biro when he signed a three year deal for Newcastle.

He keeps saying he wants to play for Swansea then signs a three year deal for Newcastle requiring Swansea to cough up £7-8m more and writting off any money for Grimes.

The perspective fromResolven is very clear. I call a chainsaw and chainsaw.

Just can't happen Grimes is our best player now Ayew has gone.

I realise he will more than likely end up going but that cash needs to replace him first, plus help strengthening other areas where we are short.

Not necessarily look at Leighton James.
40 to 50 years ago many baby boys born in Burnley area around that time were named Leighton James.
He was such a local hero at the time
Leighton has left a lasting legacy to this day in the area.

Same with me regarding comments.

The thought of a wop like this i simply insane. I cannot fathom a to what or how people could possibly opine thus.

What an insult to Benda and Hamer

Lovely properties, have you been to Burnley its a very poor area and the properties reflect this, houses in places such as Coalclough and Padiham probably wouldn't reach 100k
