We are talking of a mindset and that is hard to change.
It’s like expecting Welsh nationalists to realise their dream of separation is really fantasy.
Either there is a problem particularly in Liverpool and the Wirral with racist people because that is the area she represented or there is little problem to speak of, hence possibly why she apparently had no specific answers to what can be done.
It's amazing how Jewish people get to the top of the Labour party despite all this discrimination against them, absolutely amazing.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.
I see it as a chance for Labour to reinvent itself and rebuild. The timing is perfect, the Corbyn experiment is over and we know that there’s no way a Momentum style party can be elected. This is a way to cut that wing of the party, whilst being seen by moderates to be taking decisive action against an independent report.
There’s also time to get through this. Years until a general election and politics isn’t exactly ‘normal’ at the minute - it’s practically dead time that can be used to regroup.
I could never have voted for Corbyn but can see Starmer’s labour being a political home for me.

Remember that the Deputy Leader of Welsh Labour said in court that calling her gay colleague a "Dyke" and physically assaulting her because of her sexuality would just have been "office banter".
Amid calls from all parties for her to resign, I'll let you guess which party leader was the only one to publicly defend her. Here's a clue, he and Neil Griffin (British National Party) are the only two party leaders to be investigated by the Equality and Human Rights Comission.

The very idea Tories could do anything at all with any merit is anathema to most on here and in south Wales so utterly hoodwinked are they by the concept of Labour being for the working man. My mum's dad thought that and died slowly and in poverty under a Labour government so I aint having it at all a regards Labour and its care for the ordinary/poor/deprived or whatever label they attach to people.
Personally,I class Tory politicans as mainly insouciant or ambivolent and Labour as simple hypocrites and class warriors using "poverty" as a political tool;it turn my stomach.

Your last paragraph has been one of curiosity for a good while. Some of the councillors will certainly put more effort in than others - that is mirrored in everyday life.
