Ifollow match pass 18:10 - Sep 11 with 8335 viewsDale2017

Sorry if this has been posted before.

Using ifollow for the 1st time and I just bought a match pass for tomorrow. I have the ifollow app downloaded. How do I go about watching it as nothing appears on the app to say I've bought it but is on my account through the dale site?

Just noticed I got 3 emails within minutes of each other, thanking me for my game pass purchase. Anybody else have this? I'd hate to think I've been charged triple, to be honest I'm kind of regretting paying the once!

Thanks. How can you tell so soon, it takes a few days for the transactions to show up on my account?

It's showing as a 'pending' transaction on my online banking.

Oh right, there's owt under my 'pending' transactions, just have to wait and see I guess. Never been a problem when I've purchased a pass before and all the emails have the same transaction ID so it'll probably be OK.

Thanks.

Absolutely

And we need to be absolutely clear on whether its DFC or FRC (for all future references)

I'm easy...

Edit: i should add, since it's described as an "August reward" in the link, i take it that anyone buying a DFC now won't be entitled to a free pass for the Portsmouth game. This needs clarifying, and whether, if not free, then any discount would apply

I think it is all clear now.

There can be no discounts on iFollow for games for either STs or card holders. EFL rules won't allow.

Everybody will get a pass code for the Portsmouth game

Those that bought a season ticket and asked for 6 iFollow pass codes as an alternative to a refund will get 2 passes for the Portsmouth game.

The club tried to make a commitment to the fans when it didn't know the rules that would be applied by EFL for iFollow. Nothing can be done about that. Dale Trust would have been aware that that was a risk too.

It doesn't mention anything about no discounts for SC/ST holders. Only Family Rewards Card holders are referenced.

This EFL story from three days ago says SC/ST holders can still watch home games for free, subject to the agreement of their club:

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Okay so I apologise if I misinterpreted the guidelines. It still isn't clear whether STs can access iFollow as part of their package with Rochdale after the end of this month as we will have no restrictions then given we haven't sold out our potential ST capacity. Lets see what transpires but I don't believe that the club isn't being clear whereas you seem to be sure. It is a shame because they might sell a lot more tickets if people knew they could always see the game on iFollow throughout the season as a back stop.

I wouldn't say I'm pretty sure, more that that's my interpretation from reading the various stories.

As far as I can tell, there's no change to what SC holders will be able to see, as supported by the EFL link.

The situation for FRC holders is the bit that has changed, as per the story on the o/s.

Not sure it’s anything more than when everyone bought a season card they did so with the understanding that they’d get ifollow passes for any games they were unable to attend due to restrictions. For example if (big if round here right now) local restrictions allowed supporters to attend games, then they wouldn’t get an ifollow code. And when we can’t, we do.

The same situation applies at all other clubs albeit that their restrictions on capacities mean their may be some games when not all fans can gain access due to capacity, so those that don’t will get a code to watch the game at home.

And just to add for the sake of some clarity, the free pass for DFC holders for the Portsmouth game is now being called a September* reward, not (as originally) an August reward - which i'd queried because it might mean anyone buying a DFC ahead of the Portsmouth game wouldn't qualify unless they'd bought it in August

*this has been confirmed in an email reply from the club

Surely it’s been confirmed by the calendar too?
