Rod Gilbert 17:59 - Apr 15 with 5571 views | swancity | Does anyone find him remotely funny ? About as funny as piles imo 😆c I’m assuming so as he’s made a career out of it And who makes you laugh? Of the comedians I mean .

You must have seen them. It’s impossible not to have seen them. Here’s a picture of them together. They are the ones standing up.

I've never heard of most of the "edgy" ones. I'm easy to please I suppose. I like Rhod Gilbert, Al Murray and numerous others. Hugh Dennis is constantly one of the best on those manufactured panel type shows and I still love Have I got news for you. Paul Merton is very sharp.

Katherine Ryan is on the left, Pascoe on the right. They’re both ok, I prefer Ryan to Pascoe. They’re both women though (as you’ve probably noticed) which automatically disqualifies them from being “funny” in some opinions. Not that it’s because they’re women though. Perish that thought.

They've certainly passed me by anyway. Have they got their own show?

I don’t think so. Ryan is fairly regular on QI, which is where I’ve seen most of what I’ve seen of her. Pascoe I’ve only really seen on stuff like Live at the Apollo and similar shows.

So in conclusion the assertion that “They are on literally everything” is clearly false. I’m watching the Repair Shop - no sign of them so far. They weren’t on the 6 o clock news either. Or Wales Today. I also watched Captain America - The First Avenger on Sky this afternoon. No Pascoe, no Ryan.

Not in my opinion. Josie Lawrence is one of my favourites, she’s brilliant. (and a bit of a GILF to boot.) Never miss a visit to the comedy store whenever I’m in London, she’s the best of the lot. Also love Dianne Morgan’s brilliant deadpan delivery. Katherine Parkinson was hilarious in the IT crowd. The list is endless but unfortunately Sara Pascoe and Katherine Ryan aren’t on it.

I love Micky Flanagan but don’t find Rhod Gilbert funny at all. Everyone is completely different with comedy.

What is or isn't funny is down to personal taste He makes me laugh, he doesn't make you laugh Not sure what your point is
Rod Gilbert on 20:32 - Apr 15 with 864 views | Thrasher6 | Like many on here....I just find most of the newer lot totally unfunny. Seen so many over the years. Frank Skinner has always made me laugh. I loved a lot of the old style old school comedians that would tour the club scene in the Seventies and Eighties. Agree with Highjack that the silliness is missing at the moment...

I think Katherine Ryan is funny. I also like Susan Calman on shows like QI. And Sandi Toksvig for that matter. Far better than Stephen Fry doing QI. Can’t stand Jimmy Carr on those shows. Love David Mitchell.
