I think the club are laying on coaches but £27 is a bit steep for an hours journey,in my opinion.

Went to the Madjeski hotel bar a year or two ago which was busy and just fine. As with most of Reading, the area around the ground is deeply uninspiring.

Give it a few years and they will run on Boxing Day. Yesterday London Overground ran trains from Clapham Junction to Hackney Wick via Shepherds Bush / Willesden Junction plus from Highbury and Islington to West Croydon. With the Elizabeth Line/ crossrail to open fully in the coming year, don't be surprised to see it run on Boxing Day in the near future. And then they'll be looking at the 25th. Thankfully I'm retiring in 4 years time.

I was wondering about that. The Elizabeth Line is part of TfL and Reading is now shown on the London Underground map.
