High streets dying 17:13 - Nov 26 with 2176 viewscmajack

Went to town with my wife this morning and spotted 4 dining room chairs that we liked in WHAT ( old BHS). They were £55 each so a total of £220, no mean sum of money. When we asked about buying them were told " We have only just had them in stock , have sold out and not sure when we are having more back in " . With all that's available online and with retailers vying for our hard earned cash you think they would actually have the items to purchase or even possibly order.

Sounds like they’re thriving if they’ve sold all their stock.

Try "Not only sofas" in the high street. They have a very large stock of furniture of all types often end of lines and reasonably priced.

Definitely - picked up a Lazy Boy 3 seater sofa, electric recliner, £450, normally retail at £2,000. Delivery was £30 (4 miles away).
