How is a full main stand a victory for NAPM?

I'm not denigrating anybody's efforts but please, let's all be honest.

Have you ever thought TAM was wrong?

I challenged you to explain yourself on here. You just denied your involvement and to this day remain deliberately vague as to who is moderating AVFTT. It’s obvious if it isn’t you then it’s somebody just like you. Despite how you persist in trying to create the illusion otherwise.

It’s ironic you say you’ve as much right as me to post on here all things considered.

I take it you’ve successfully ‘cleansed’ AVFTT now? Apart from the ones you leave behind of course who are not very challenging to you and your cronies but represent good sport. Need a few idiots to gang up on from time to time of course. Something to vent on.

So now you’re on here on the wind up.

I don't know where you were when this site was launched in 2014 but it was then that I resigned as a moderator. If I'm "vague" about who does the job on AVFTT now it's because I don't know the powers that be at FoL.

All your other theories on my power over there are paranoid nonsense ; the place has hundreds (if not thousands) of posters with minds of their own, some of whom I know and many of whom I don't. What you see as a cabal is just people who see each other at games and have been posting on the site for as long as 20 years in some cases.

I shouldn't have to justify myself to you, and you are getting far more patience and courtesy than you deserve. I don't care what you did over there to get yourself into hot water but given my experience of you is that you are unrelentingly aggressive and abusive if anyone challenges or contradicts you, I'm not surprised that you did.

I think it is a shame because you are articulate and can construct an argument. But given that you haven't really got the back history with the club that others have, why not acknowledge it, show a bit of humility and when you return to the UK, take in a few away games? You'd be a lot better placed to join in and feel part of things. At the moment your feelings of unhappiness and exclusion are evident to everyone, but you only have yourself to blame for them.

Getting back on topic, I still think yesterday was a victory for NAPM, but so far I don't think you've actually said what your view is.

Disagree with the O/P, the low attendance yesterday sent out another message, which was amplified to a wider audience through the TV coverage.

Agree with spells point about TAM`s remark about `plastic` fans. As a casual fan of many years, I find the `considerably bigger fan than yow` mentality a tad elitist and sneering.

Whilst I have the upmost respect for him for his general common sense approach and unstinting work to effect change, I think his remark was slightly patronising.

It is a fact of life that sporting success generally brings in extra fans. And what is wrong with some coming to see a better quality of football?

Sort of like a seven day a week pub bore, deriding a casual drinker for only going out on a Saturday night...

Will anyone be that bothered ? If it was you watching another club on tv you’d just think oh right, poor Blackpool but it wouldn’t make the slightest difference to our plight. Looking at the pic it’s hardly empty.

I've been talking via e-mail with one or two people today and the feeling is that the penny may have finally dropped with some in the national media yesterday, because we did something that seems completely counter-intuitive. You're not supposed to boycott games like that.

Arguably they should have picked up on it when over 30,000 of us failed to turn up for the play-off final. But boycotting a game with Exeter City doesn't have the same resonance as snubbing one with footballing royalty.**

Over 30,000 Robbie 🤔. There’s not a cat in hell’s chance we’d have 35000 for a LG 2 playoff 😃

When we played West Ham in 2012 we didn’t even get 30000

Back to the OP.

It's a fair point. Personally I'm not bothered who goes and who doesn't. NAPM is a personal choice. I think Lala makes similar points. I don't think anyone needs to be told by X, Y or Z whether they should attend or not. People can do what they like.

If BST told the world to attend a particular game I wouldn't . Likewise I'm really not bothered if the ground is full or empty. Oyston will get nothing from me ever again. It's a personal choice. There were thousands not attending because they'd reached the end of the line with Oyston long before BST were ever formed.
