UEFA Nations League question 11:10 - Sep 9 with 2424 viewszedlep

Sorry if already covered previously.

Why are Wales in League B when we were the 9th ranked European team (England were 8th) and Iceland and Italy were ranked behind us?
From what I have read the Leagues were split directly taking November 2017 FIFA rankings into mind.
Please don’t let this descend into a Wales vs England hatefest again, it’s boring.

Nothing to do with FIFA.

Everything to do with UEFA national rankings in which we are, bizarrely, well down despite our performance in France 2 years ago.

Planet Swans Prediction League Winner Season 2013-14. Runner up 2014_15.
Poll: How many points clear of relegation will we be on Saturday night?

Oh right. Thanks for that though now I share your confusion as to why the ranking system should throw up such an obvious different outcome.

England are not very good considering the population.
Lost twice to Belgium the first game Belgium didn't even want to win also got well beaten by Croatia and were outclassed again last night.
Wales have managed 2 wins and A draw against Belgium and a semi final in the Euros pretty impressive really.

Yes, we should be 10th. England should be about 14th.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
