I'm guessing our highest earner wasn't even here when that list was compiled.

Last season so Siggy would've been there. Also I wonder if paying off so many managers and coaching staff has increased the figure.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

The longer you are there then naturally the higher it will be. Hence why Jenkins correctly stated that in order to compete they needed to sell to someone who could boost revenues. As a club we do not earn enough.

For years we overachieved in the sense that our league position was higher than our position in the wage bill rank table, Not so now, and not even close.

We're in and around where I expected us to be, to be honest.

The issue is we aren't refreshing our squad...and paying this to ageing players.

It's also a bit of a sign that we're underachieving as a club.

Unbelievable ... with our squad!!

More than Leicester, WBA, Newcastle & Palace. Same as Stoke & Southampton. Only slightly less than West Ham. You couldn’t make this up ... just look at our squad ... FFS. The person in charge needs to be held to account , just unbelievable, wow

Last season we had a massive squad, in the summer a lot of the dead wood was removed and this would reduce the wage bill.

If we removed all the dead wood we’d struggle to field a team in a six a side League.

I used to love the match day experience even enduring the 400 mile round trip to the Liberty and £160 for the privilege.

The last season and this has totally killed off my interest when I see certain members of squad can't be arsed and the other half not up to it with a DoF killing then club on and off the field.

Not for me anymore.. had enough of the club and the way its run and the expense of following the club.

I'll be back next season when hopefully we find our level and if we're not run into the ground hopefully have some local ownership again.

Oh, i thought you were joking! Most of the players on that list were on pennies when it comes to a £92m wage bill and many have been replaced by the next batch of 'hopefuls'. Gomis wasn't on the wage bill, but we would have paid him his £2m a year signing on fee, as we will also do this year despite his move, so that leaves..............

Seem to be forgetting wages for off field staff here.

ex CD who brought in crowd facing ads for curry houses and funeral homes when the Tikka gives out.
Current Yank bringing in even more staff
Jase and Stevie boy on the payroll (guess they are)
All the sell outs doubling their wages.
Office staff who can't be arzed to help a disabled supporter move parking spaces, so he can attend games.
People who can't do loan/ transfer paperwork properly

Otherwise we're fairly competitive in the wages dept

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

The wages of a lot of the junior professionals/trainees would not be that high. A guy that I know has a son who is a professional footballer, he told me that League 2 clubs were paying young strikers around 25k per season, some research on line puts League 2 players in the 50K pa bracket. Based on those kind of numbers, the wages of 20 junior players in the academy would not be a significant percentage of the overall wage bill. It would be interesting to see who exactly s earning what.
