Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Wild Boers likely to become extinct in North Croydon :

"Crystal Palace are the first top-flight team since Preston in 1924-25 to lose their opening four matches without scoring a goal. "

Sanches involved heavily. Just needs to get his passing radar working! Bloody sly challenge on him by Hayden rightly a yellow

Looks quality apart from the passing so far, but you can see he hasn't had any time to gel, looks on a different wavelength

Look like a bunch of strangers in final third.

Sanches doesn't know his role in the team as of yet either, he looks low on confidence with his passing etc.

We seem to be playing too much through Sanchez who has given away around 70% of his passes.

Expectations are so high on Sanches. This is a good read on where he was at last season. He's going to need time to get his confidence up.

'Mark Lovell is the Bayern Munich correspondent for ESPN and watched Sanches close-up last season at the Allianz Arena. “There were too many headless chicken, frenzied running about-type performances,” he says. “Sanches was the worst passer in the Bayern squad last season. He was too keen to impress in his cameos and ended up giving the ball away cheaply, which was really noticeable in the first season after Pep [Guardiola]. I think expectations got the better of him.'

Good decision by the referee, which would have been enhanced if he had also given a yellow card for diving.

My thoughts on first half -

Fer isn't helping as top of the diamond, he is playing to wide and deep and leaving Abraham isolated. There are no options down the right in front of Sanches or Naughton so why play everything down the right. Not utilising Ollsen enough down the left and stretching the game. Carroll needs to be a bit more direct at times and get the ball into Abraham earlier.

For me Bony on for Ayew

Agree with that, to be honest I'd probably replace Abraham before Ayew.

Clucas pick of midfield, Carroll and Fer haven't bought anything to game really and Sanches just doesn't look like he knows what his role is out there for me.

Mawson aswell, not won much in the air and very wasteful when going long. All in all it's been a poor performance in my eyes, Newcastle have come for the point and look comfortable.
