I saw a few decent crosses from the left 2nd half, a couple from Manning and one from Goss. On the whole i'm not sure I learned anything from that game.

Just back to Charing Cross match report not relevant to me although I thought Mas & Washington both played well.
It was great to see fans from elsewhere paying their respects to Stan. Bournemouth fans joined in the minutes applause on 10 minutes and when Stan walked round the pitch at half time. Also saw a forest flag as I came out of the Blue & White at half time.

Was great to see Stan looking well as he miked the half time applause with Don Shanks who deserves a lot of plaudits for everything he contributed towards today. Not sure how much Stanley took in but he looked very happy and don't mind admitting I shed a small tear as he walked past the loft and off down the tunnel for the last time.
He brought me so much pleasure growing up watching him play and I wish him and his family peace, love and happiness. [Post edited 29 Jul 2017 18:26]

Absolutely heartbreaking and yet joyful. Knowing Stan won't be back again and seeing that he wasn't talking at all to Gerry and Shanksy and yet the little jig of delight and look of sheer delight .
I'm sure the second appearance at half time wasn't planned and was much more Stan wanting to be out there again.

A pity about the rain, but in case anyone who had a hand in arranging today's game reads this, I'd just like to say a massive well done and thank you. Also very best wishes to Stan himself and of course to his daughter and other family members supporting him. The involvement of Don Shanks has moved me more than anything - apart from anything, he has shown an example of true friendship. While Stanley may never be able to come to Loftus Road again, hopefully his family know that QPR supporters will always be there and happy to give a few quid to help if needed. Although of course people suffering this terrible but common disease, the majority of whom were not football legends, shouldn't have to rely on charity. [Post edited 30 Jul 2017 1:18]
