Caretaker Manager's shouldn't count. They're already known to just be there short term before the new manager is in place so it's not like they were ever fully employed then sacked.

I had no problem at all with Sousa. Had he got to the summer and been able to buy a striker or two, he'd have been fine. Disgraceful sacking imo.

Bare bones.

I thought John Gregory did a good job keeping the Club up in 2006/07 with the squad he had. He made some excellent signings to get the job done that season.

Potentially, you could argue that he saved the club from the abyss as you'd have to question whether the subsequent take over and clearance of the crippling debts would have materialised had QPR been back in League 1.

The importance of what he achieved in my opinion, is criminally over looked.

Agreed

I actually enjoyed that season. In fact compared to the current season I was beside myself with excitment

Put Smithies at the top of the list, and you'd have the makings of a half decent side!

I know he's marmite but the 4 seasons with Holloway were very memorable, he helped to re-build our club. Loved the passion and comradeship he brought to the club.

He should be 1st or 2nd in that list.
