Should make for a good atmosphere. We really need to give them a jolly good hiding after the last few results at Craven Cottage. If our players can't redeem themselves after the last time out then it's they who need a hiding.

The only clubs I would give the top tier only out of spite is Man Utd and Chelsea.
Man Utd because they have the biggest club ground in the country yet give an appalling allocation to away fans yet demand a huge allocation for their away fans 'cos they're man-fking-utd. Fk right off.
Mind you, Arsenal's away allocation is not much better either.
Chelsea because they're Chelsea.

is it a 12.30PM Kick off ? if it is it makes a poor atmosphere no matter how many they bring , anyway they wont sell out , they never do
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Except we clearly have in the past. Depending on prices, it sadly wouldn't surprise me if we don't this time; live on tv, completely deflated, bored, depressed support. Might be desperate for the 3 points by then, however, which would maybe generate a bit more interest and deaden the general apathy. 12:30 - guarantees a toilet atmosphere.
Sadly, I'll be somewhere in the Cotswolds celebrating my Mother-in-law's 70th birthday. Which is a very Fulhamish thing to find yourself doing when we're playing 3 miles up the road.

If I had the choice between the Cotswolds and this game I also would be jumping into a 4x4, labrador in the boot and my under & over on the back seat with Hunter wellies ready to get muddy
Cameron Country. My spiritual home
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

My wife bought me some Hunter wellies for Christmas. Apparently I need them. I can't bring myself to even take them out of the box. I don't want to be the Londoner who turns up in the country pub in his Hunters - what's wrong with being the Londoner who turns up in the country pub in an old pair of Stan Smiths caked in mud? What have I become?

To be fair I think the only time I can remember you not selling out was the 99 game

Spoken like a true Fulham fan, Konk
midweek game 0-0 the first time you had been to us in years , loads of empty seats in the upper school, same as when you beat us 2-0 under tigana , lots of empty seats and again when you done us 2-1 when we had Hughes you didn't sell out
this game should be a Friday or Saturday night , I hate these 12.30 kickoffs
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot

Well the Hughes game (0-1) was definitely sold out because I know people who couldn't get tickets, and I can't remember empty seats for the Tigana season, but will take your word for it as you can't always tell when you're sat in a stand (especially not over two tiers). The 0-0 followed your lot giving it the Billy Big Potatoes at our place, and hence some people not unreasonably decided to give it a swerve, figuring it would be more of the same, tragic sad cases acting like cu nts at LR... but let's not go over that again.
NB. If it wasn't a significant birthday, I'd have sacked it off and gone to the game, but if you miss the 70th birthday celebrations of someone close to you to go to the football, you probably have your priorities a bit skew whiff.
PS. The 2-1 under Jol was sold out too.
And the School End looks pretty full here:

the Fulham 99 game had a few of your Herbert's trying to cause a bit of aggro but apart from a Fulham lad I remember get a smack on the Uxbridge road it was a all very quiet im glad you have the upper tiers as it makes a better atmosphere at our place , its a shame its a stupid kick off time lets face it both of our clubs have noting to play for this season & bar Brentford these are the only 2 games worth going to now

I dunno, I'm quietly confident we can have a serious go at getting relegated.
But yeah, it's been a complete non-event of a season. Sod's law, by the way, that JFH will get his first win against our lot, if you haven't won again by that point.

And, to even it up, we didn't sell out in 2001 at the Cottage. The terrace was about 3/4 full.
We Still had 4500k there XTC , excellent support considering Fulham had ran away with the league and we were total garbage , there was only going to be one outcome yet we still took a good following
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot

I'm not sure about 4,500.
14:30 pans across the Putney, which would have had to be packed for that number, plus full seats in the Riverside.

Maybe, but I stood in pretty much the same place as the season before (corner of terrace by the Riverside) and it was virtually empty. In '99 you could barely move.
From memory, bar 99/00 Fulham have always brought good numbers. I went in 79/80 (3-0, Currie scored a beauty) but couldn't say what their support was as I was 9 and they didn't score. the other games I thought they looked sold out bar '99. Could be wrong but who knows (or cares).
