Oxford United v Swansea City Update on 13:34 - Jan 2 with 5009 views | VetchitBack | Anyone know if there are seats left on official coach travel? And whether best of intentions or simply being a cocky tw@ please don't refer me to either the official or travel website without a definitive answer. Couldn't make head nor tail of either. Thanks.

1,500 fans (when we sell out) on a Sunday, 12pm kick off, live on TV and against a League 2 side is not bad going! They reckon there will be only 300 seats used for segregation so there should be a crowd of just over 12,000, capacity 12,500. It's just a shame they don't have just some sort of temporary stand or terrace on the empty side of the ground!

Or like I think I saw it at Dunvant RFC when they reached the top league they had a double decker bus for some fans to watch the matches from! That would be ideal at Oxford! Parked sideways!

We went to Conwy about 20 years ago to watch the Ferry in the LOW and it was so friggin cold a few of us stayed on the coach and watched the game and had a few cans.

Oxford United v Swansea City Update on 01:03 - Jan 3 with 4499 views | jackharris | Looking forward to this game a week today! They are playing really well at the moment and won 4-2 away to Notts County yesterday. It's a shame the old pub has now gone a few 100metres from the away end. The bloody roof was so low in there! I'm surprised they were allowed to knock it down, heritage status? Used to have a great atmosphere for away fans, and you could park your car next to it. 1,500 jacks will make a fair old noise, if you think 1,800 out sung 74,000 Man U fans today! I'm sure Thames Valley Police will be out in force for this one. 10,500 home fans, not a bad turn out for a current League 2 club. To make it around the 12,000 mark. It's a shame it will not be shown in HD, only if you have Setanta Ireland. [Post edited 3 Jan 2016 1:04]

Oxford United v Swansea City Update - Just the Odd Ticket left on 22:14 - Jan 4 with 3804 views | builthjack | There seems to be lots of people now after Oxford tickets. Would we have had the full allocation of 1800 if people had got their tickets earlier, instead of the 1500 we now have?

Yes we would have had the full allocation of at least 1,875 (15% of capacity) if people had got their tickets earlier. If the game had stayed at 3pm on the Saturday, I think we would have definitely taken 2,500. That is if Oxford would have allocated us that many extra seats.

If we win, and are drawn away again, people need to get their tickets early then.

Oxford United v Swansea City Update - Just the Odd Ticket left on 22:40 - Jan 4 with 3749 views | jackharris | With this sudden extra demand for tickets for Sunday, I wonder if Oxford would consider moving the matting at the front of the away end. It perhaps depends on the Health and Safety officer and Thames Valley Police. Block 29 - 40 seats covered ( 4 rows x 10) Block 28 and 27 - 240 seats covered (4 rows x60) Even if they left matting on the front two rows there would still be 140 more seats. *Oxford United might have done this already but I doubt it.
