They've also got rid of 12 Bar, which although was very small had some great memories for me... The new one is in Holloway now, also not been yet but my mates played a few gigs there and said it's decent enough. |  |

Big Reds was my local for years, when I lived in Islington and Holloway (was going out with one of the barmaids for a few years) but it's turned into a theme pub these days. People go because it's 'Reds' and they know it as a place that is dark and full of people that dress funny, instead of how it used to be, a genuine alternative bar that played good music and didn't have trackie wearing dick heads from Tommy Flynns or Wetherspoons (generalisation but you know what I mean).
The doormen are tw@ts too. Shame.
The gaff was the best for music, had gigs every weekend without fail. The hobgoblin further up the road was good too, even when it turned into the Study. But it's pure Arsenal now - think it's called The Herbert Chapman. | |
