Anyone notice Jarrett Waters name was missed off the list .. wonder if that's because he was only coming if Clark was the boss?!

Think it's because players normal full time contracts run from 1st July until the end of June the following year.

He may still be classed as a Blyth player at the moment, until the transfer can be registered. (not too sure of the rule when you are signing non-league, semi-pro players).

Retained Lists just deal with players at that club who are on full time professional contracts, it gives players who's contracts are not being renewed a chance to try and find a new club before their final pay day at the end of June.

Remember Pat Nevin talking about it on the radio a couple of years ago.
