The Official Tottenham Hotspurs v Swansea City Matchnight Thread on 20:26 - Mar 4 by Johnw102 | Problem is we do not now have a striker at the club, a lot of people were saying in January once Wilf went we would be in the sh** if BG got injured. Who do any of you see playing up front now? |
The person playing at the moment perhaps. Just a thought like.

The Official Tottenham Hotspurs v Swansea City Matchnight Thread on 20:23 - Mar 4 by crackerjack | What is syncope? Syncope is temporary loss of consciousness and posture, described as "fainting" or "passing out." It's usually related to temporary insufficient blood flow to the brain. It most often occurs when the blood pressure is too low (hypotension) and the heart doesn't pump a normal supply of oxygen to the brain. What causes syncope? It may be caused by emotional stress, pain, pooling of blood in the legs due to sudden changes in body position, overheating, dehydration, heavy sweating or exhaustion. Syncope may occur during violent coughing spells (especially in men) because of rapid changes in blood pressure. It also may result from several heart, neurologic, psychiatric, metabolic and lung disorders. And it may be a side effect of some medicines. |

Oliviera, Siggy and Emnes could do the job up top. Gomis was playing it but lets be fair was not setting the world alight, these three cant do any worse than what he has been doing lately in goals return. Luckily it looks like we are safe so we are not to highly dependent on having a striker who can score to safe us from relegation.

The Official Tottenham Hotspurs v Swansea City Matchnight Thread on 20:42 - Mar 4 with 2454 views | karnataka | Good half, well battled, and we are moving it about well in their half. Think we will get more chances on the break, let's hope we take one or two. Maybe with Bafe off, others may take more responsibility for getting shots in rather than trying to play him in.

Thought Routs was having a stinker to be honest.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

But i see a lot of the plums on here are already using it as an excuse to have a pop - not that they alreayd needed one. Have a word is it? Good first half nonetheless.

I thought he was doing ok getting forward considering Spurs were attacking a lot down our left with Townsend & Walker. Routs was still finding opportunities to link up in the attacks.
The Official Tottenham Hotspurs v Swansea City Matchnight Thread on 20:46 - Mar 4 with 2298 views | Aquinas | Dyer can play up top also. Barrow is another possibility. Gomis is probably an alright guy but completely deluded. Maybe his desperation to move to a bigger club in January was because he knows his days as a football player are numbered. It could be the same reasoning behind him running down his Lyon contract so he got a big pay day.

The Official Tottenham Hotspurs v Swansea City Matchnight Thread on 20:47 - Mar 4 with 2280 views | LeonisGod | People saying we don't have a striker? Oli is fine, but he won't be effective with his back to goal. Think DG10 in type. We're better set to play on the break with him, if we had Montero and Routs alongside him. But we don't look to want to do that. Very slow getting any support forward when a break is on.

The Official Tottenham Hotspurs v Swansea City Matchnight Thread on 20:50 - Mar 4 with 2198 views | monmouth | Please Oliviera, ram these words down my stupid throat, but do we have a bet on every season that we can loan the most ineffectual 'striker' in the whole of european football for a year? We'll lose 3-1 I reckon, even if we grimly hang on for 35 mins. They're a late goal team. Anything better that gives us any points, and I'll be absolutely thrilled.
