Not a bad squad on 14:18 - Feb 2 with 2565 views | Pegojack | Fab Noughton, FF, Ash, Taylor Ki Cork, Siggy Barrow, Gomis, Montero Only maybes in that for me is JJS for Siggy. I would alternate, or give one 60 minutes, one 30. And the same for Emnes v Barrow. And the same for Britton v Ki!

I wouldn't have Barrow as a starter when all our wingers are fit. Routs and Dyer are ahead in my mind, just for their better all round, more-drilled approach which is so important to the way we now play. Barrow is a great option for injecting something different though, and in time could become a very good player for us. Other than that, I reckon that's the team I'd pick (subject to seeing how well Cork slots in).
Not a bad squad on 16:02 - Feb 2 with 2468 views | Far_Post | Fabianski Rangel Fernandez Williams Taylor Ki Britton Routledge Sigurdsson Montero Gomis Have not seen enough of Naughton and Cork yet to put them as starters but they may change my mind before the end of the season. Tough call between Dyer and Routs but given how Nathan is off form at the moment I would hand the shirt to Routledge. The only other difficult call was to leave Shelvey out. For me his best position is in an advanced midfield position which means he is competition/back up for Siggy.

I have to agree on the sub in approach for the next series of matches with Naughton, and Cork to get them use to the side before we place them as starting if they make the cut. I have all the faith in Cork and sure it'll be no time at all he'll be in. Naughton.. I like the cut of his Jib but I think he's got some work to do with pushing forward and through passes. But I think he'll get to the level we need him in with a little pitch time. Aside from the strike force were looking a little more balanced and fleshed out than when we came into the window. And the over paying for Naughton I think was made up for with the Cork on the cheap.

Yep that for me too (but with Leon on the bench) As mentioned by another poster JJS needs game time but only at the expense of Siggy He cant play behind him. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Not a bad squad on 20:38 - Feb 2 with 2205 views | Glyn1 | Tough one, what a great question! For me, Rangel keeps his place until Naughton proves he's better. I'd like to have Leon and Cork together and see what happens, but that means dropping Ki. What a great problem for Garry to have!

Good point about Cork; I should have added that I'm hopeful he, Grimes, or Fulton can put pressure on Carroll to step up or lose his place in my optimal starting XI. I'm still fairly lukewarm on TC. He's just the best proven option along Ki for the time being, now that we've clearly established that JJS belongs pushing Gylfi for time; not playing out of position at DM.
