Anyone still believe we can do it? 16:39 - Nov 23 with 2903 viewswe_are_Superior

Have to say when Clark arrived I thought we might get the new manager bounce but 2 points from 12 would hardly indicate that will happen and in truth we need 4 wins from the next 6 games to get to 20 points by the halfway stage and am not sure about anyone else but I just can't see it happening.

We are still at a stage of the season where 2/3 wins on the bounce and suddenly it's a different picture and we looked more like a lower table side than one that was down and out on Saturday - just need that first win and we'll see what happens - great chance on Saturday IMO.

I just thought I'd up my nerd factor a little more and do some more stat checking. This is an interesting find.....

Since September 1 2012 - the point Ollie realised that he would not get any help from Karl and psychologically jacked it in and started looking for another job, Blackpool have played 101 league games. They've picked up a total of 90 points. Less than 1 a game. We've had 5 managers plus Thommo in that time.

Looking at our performance from the day Valerie Belekon arrived to August 31 2012 - the point when the great money grab truly started - and we gained 378 points from 271 games. 1.39 per game over a spell that included a relegation from the highest league in the land.

Doesn't it make you think.......

We got Bogdanovic, Oyston got very rich

We can get out of this but we need to catch up at least 5 of the 10 points in the next couple of months...

Harry makes the most important point that this hasn't been a 'this season' thing it's been going on for months and months - new manager and new players haven't helped and so I can't see a miracle cure sadly (especially with McMahon due to return now Lenihan has gone back!!)

Honest to God. Deluded if you think this squad is capable of turning the season around. Lets face it, they don't care. They don't have loyalty shown to them in way of a decent contract so they are not going to win the 50-50 battles and why should they. It's not their club, and they know they may be out of here in a matter of months (OR LESS).

The last time we sustained any sort of form was at the back end of the 2012/2013 season when Ince took over. In fact, I just saw a clip of the Bolton game at the end of that season and the difference in the players on show and their collective ability compared to the current side or even last season's side is staggering. And tells you why we won't stay up unless there is a massive change in the squad and recruitment 'strategy...'

This is the real issue over and above anything else, but also as a clear indication that the situation we are now in has nothing to do with anything Riga did. We would have signed cack whoever was in charge......
