Ya, it's cracking. isn't it? I'm not one for guitar solos but that's measured and spare playing, and I never get bored of it.

yes it was John Kongos who did the original. Here's one that is a constant source of argument in the family as it's the only version I grew up with but my son is convinced The Beatles version is the better known one - he wasn't even there to know

Can't believe I'm the first to come up with 'All Along the Watchtower' by Hendrix. Haven't bothered with a link 'cos if you haven't heard it you must be living in a cave. Neil Young does a pretty good version too. Sort of a version of Hendrix' version.
