He played okay last season. He wasn't poor by any means. But he certainly wasn't the Leon of old, the one who'd hound down mid fielders and protect the defence from most attacks. Ideally he'd be on the bench now, filling in when needed. The same as Rangel. | |

Leon Britton has had a massive influence on our success in the last ten years, and he is pushing Robbie James and Alan Curtis as one of my all time greats.
I thought Joey would be the obvious replacement, but 15mill was best for all parties.
