Is The Coming Of The Vuvuzela Nigh !

The big question most football fans will be asking themselves is whether the vuvuzela will be crossing the Ocean from South Africa and arriving in UK football grounds.

It is certain that some enterprising souls will import a few over and attempt to market them, either officially through the clubs themselves or via street vendors etc.

The initial reaction when the BBC asked around Premier clubs was that the instrument, if that is the right term that people love or hate will be allowed into the stadiums, however thats not the case in germany where one club has already introduced a ban.

Borussia Dortmund as seen as amongst the most vocal in the Bundesliga, their Westfalenstadion is also one of the biggest with a capacity of 81,000.

Their Club officials have already been consulting supporters regarding the use of Vuvuzelas next season prompting a statement from General manager Hans-Joachim Watzke.

"Our fans don't want to have these trumpets. It is nerve-racking and completely drowns out any chanting."

"We have decided as a work group at Borussia Dortmund that these horrid things will be forbidden from the Westfalenstadion

So the first opposition has already appeared to these horns, but hhow will British football fans react and will "We are the Northam over here " be drowned out by the drone of the Vuvuzela next season !
