Its Miller time!

Simon Grayson makes his first coaching appointment.

Simon Grayson has added the first member of his new backroom staff, coach Ian Miller.

Experienced Miller worked with the squad on Christmas Day and can count Blackburn and Boxing Day opponents Leicester City amongst his previous clubs.

Grayson, 39 is being widely tipped to bring his old backroom team from Blackpool over the Pennines. In a move, which would further infuriate the Seasiders, the new Leeds boss reportedly wants Tony Parkes and Steve Thompson to follow him to Elland Road.

Parkes, 59 is probably best known for his SIX spells as caretaker boss of Blackburn Rovers! He also made 350 appearances for Rovers during an association at Ewood Park which ran between 1970-2004.

Thompson is a former Leicester City team-mate of Grayson's, who has worked at Blackpool since 2005.

Grayson will surely have to tread carefully due to Blackpool's fury over his own departure and the fact that the pair only signed new deals back in March this year. The Tangarines have threatened legal action against Grayson and Leeds, considered an injunction to prevent him from taking over at Elland Road and have reported Leeds to the Football League for alledgedly poaching their boss.

Obviously much will depend on who Blackpool decide to appoint in Grayson's place, whether or not either or both are contenders for the job or if they do go for a new-man whether or not he decides to bring his own backroom staff in.
