Mac's Lads' and Luciano are the Bee's Knee's!
Leeds cruised to a 2-0 win at Barnet and Macca dropped a strong hint that he wants to keep Argentinian trialist Luciano Becchio.
Becchio did not score at Barnet and completed 68 minutes in the whites' win in London, but Macca described his performance as "excellent" and admitted that Leeds would "have to move quickly" to snap-up the former Barcelona striker.
Andy Robinson and Jonny Howson (pictured) were on target for the whites', as Macca's first-string remained unbeaten during their pre-season matches.
Leeds will conclude their summer preparations for the 2008/09 season, with our now seemingly annual trip to Darlington on Tues (29th July) KO 7.45pm, before hosting Belgians FCV Dender next Saturday (August 2nd) KO 3pm at ER.
Lets hope Mac's Lads' remain unbeaten throughout the warm-up games and carry it on to Scunthorpe on August 9th - where Leeds defend a proud record of not being beaten on the opening day of the season since 1989/90 (Newcastle away 2-5).
And lets hope Snr Becchio is signed up pronto and fulfills his obvious potential.
