Another Big Premier League Weekend For Southampton
The win against Everton was massive last Saturday, it has made sure that Saints haven't been cast adrift at the bottom and the relegation battle stands between 7 clubs still, but we are still reliant on results elsewhere, so where we be looking to this weekend.
First game up on Saturday on our radar is Crystal Palace V Fulham, if the Eagles lose and we can win at Wolves then we will draw level with them, although we will need a turnaround of 7 goal difference to go above them.
Also on Saturday is a big battle between West Ham and Everton, a draw would be best here as a win either way would be a big step for either club out of the dogfight at the bottom.
On Sunday Leicester got to Manchester United, if the Red Devils were to lose the Foxes would go above them, but let's be blunt, no matter how much praying we do Manchester United will not get relegated, however Leicester might, so we need a home win here.
Last game of the weekend on our radar is Tottenham Hotspur V Ipswich Town and sad as it is to say, we want only one result here and that is an emphatic Spurs win.
Of course we have to win our games, but in any battle whether it is at the top or the bottom of the table, you need your rivals to drop points and hopefully they all will over the weekend.
If we can do our job at Wolves though, it will send a big message to the relegation battlers, that things have changed at St Mary's and we are ready to move up the league, for the other clubs, they are in the fight and nothing has changed, for us things have changed a little and that means we can finally move forward.
