Refwatch: Rochdale v Dorking Wanderers

Dale’s penultimate home fixture of the season against Dorking Wanderers on Saturday will be refereed by JOHN MULLIGAN.

The Carlisle-based official is in his first season as a National List official and this will be his 14th match of the campaign at that level, but the third at Spotland.

In October, John refereed Dale’s 2-2 home draw versus Gateshead, although on that occasion he was a late replacement for the originally-appointed official.

Two months later, he was back at Spotland on Boxing Day for our 2-0 defeat of AFC Fylde.

The majority of Mr Mulligan’s National League appointments this season have been in the north, although his most recent were at Oxford City and Wealdstone, necessitating long trips from his Carlisle home.

His 13 matches to date have yielded 48 yellow cards and three reds.
