TEAM NEWS : Rotherham United v Swansea City LATEST

It a first game in charge for Alan Sheehan. Will we see the Swans in a different light at Rotherham ? Shackles are off, nothing to lose, let’s see the real Swansea City today.

TEAM NEWS :

⚽️ Rotherham United: Viktor Johansson, Cohen Bramall, Daniel Ayala, Jamie Lindsay, Ollie Rathbone (captain), Lee Peltier, Hakeem Odoffin, Christ Tiehi, Sebastian Bevan, Sam Nombe, Arvin Appiah.

Substitutes: Dillon Phillips, Dexter Lembikisa, Tom Eaves, Jordan Hugill, Georgie Kelly, Grant Hall, Sean Morrison, Ciaran McGuckin.

⚽️ Swansea City: Carl Rushworth, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Ben Cabango, Harry Darling, Matt Grimes (captain), Jamal Lowe, Jamie Paterson, Josh Tymon, Yannick Bolasie, Charlie Patino.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Jerry Yates, Liam Cullen, Kyle Naughton, Liam Walsh, Ollie Cooper, Bashir Humphreys, Sam Parker, Cameron Congreve.

The Swans have no additional injuries from the information available, although at least five key first team players are out until January. Alan Sheehan starts out on his search for consistency today, "So it is about finding the formula to be consistent in every game, which we have been at times this season. We know it will be a tough game, we have a whole lot of respect for Rotherham and the challenge they will represent. But I firmly believe it is about us, how we do things and how we can hurt them. That’s what the mindset has been, focusing on how we can beat the opposition in front of us”

Sheehan as much as anyone is stepping in to a situation many have done in Swans history, he is a likeable individual brought to the club by Paul Watson in the summer. We can only hope he is up to the position he is now in.

Team news appears here at 2pm UK time.
