Less Than 500 Tickets Left For Brentford Game At St Mary's

Southampton supporters have responded to the upturn in form since Ruben Selles has taken over in good numbers and the visit of Brentford is likely to sell out before the game, Saints fans wanting to go will have to hurry up.

A glance at the Saints ticketing page on the club's official website reveals that there are now under 500 tickets left on sale with around 34 hours left before kick off.

That in itself has shown a rapid response since the fine draw at Old Trafford, with a brisk sale on Monday that if repeated today could see the game sell out with a day to go.

Clearly now there is a belief in the Saints fanbase that Ruben Selles has changed something in the team and that survival in the Premier League is now no longer a forlorn hope but a real possibility and a win over Brentford will lift us to 16th in the League table and a repeat of last seasons 3 goal margin win over the Bees at St Mary's would lift us above Everton into 15th place.

This is a crucial week for Saints with two home games in the space of 4 days, the visit of Spurs on Saturday is also fast approaching a sell out and again will likely do so before the weekend.

This is a time to rally round the team after a good run of games, by this time next week if we can get two home wins the table would look a far different place.

Farke Seeks Improvement Despite Comfortable Win in the Fog
Even though we went back to the top of the table Daniel Farke thought we should have won more comfortably, but we were more than good enough to beat a woeful Stoke City. For the third time in 2024 a Leeds win cost an opposing manager his job, after Narcis Pelach was called in to collect his P45 yesterday morning.
Derby Awaydaze
Our first visit to Derby County four five years is at 5.45pm tomorrow, which has of course been dictated by Sky Sports. We’re not famous any more!
